RUN, do not walk away from this motel. I made the mistake of staying here BIG mistake. Where do I begin? I was told I could check in early by the night clerk over the phone. Upon arrival the morning clerk was slightly rude about the misinformation I was given, but she did let me check in early. My room had a dirty washcloth left on the counter, the bathtub was dirty and held at least 5 hairs and my AC was very loud. Later on that night, a ROACH crawled over me in the middle of the night!!! Then as I returned from grocery shopping (They do have a nice size refrigerator in the room) one of the stairs had BROKEN in TWO! Literally, it was so rusted through that the base fell and cracked the concrete step in two. The very top step looks like it is about to break too, the rust is way to thick for the metal to hold much longer and another is cracked... All this in just 28 hours in the hotel. I am stuck here till Saturday night, so I scared to see what else will befall me.. hopefully it wont be one of the steps!

Very quiet. No wireless network in hotel rooms as advertised on Orbitz website. TVs are from another age. No HBO. Very quiet place.

Location was good. Bed was hard. AC way to noisy and didn't work. Toilet ran all the time. Got no sleep at all. I travel alot and this is by far the worst motel I have ever stayed at. The beds were like rocks as were the pillows. AC didn't cool and was so noisy one could not sleep through it. The toilet ran all the time and the rooms looked like a child had cleaned them. Using the towels were like drying with sand paper.

The hotel is in a quiet location just off I-20. It is an older hotel. The only real problem was the bathroom sink drained slow. For the price, it was adequate since all we did was sleep and shower there.

They allowed early check-in which was great. A/C was broken. However, fixed promptly. Carpet by door was torn up. Freezer did not freeze. No handicap rooms for smokers! The staff were very nice, courteous, and accommodating. If you are on a budget, I would recommend this hotel. They were generous with early check-in and fixed the A/C promptly. Allowed pets so guess carpet torn up at doorway is to be expected. They have handicap rooms but not one for smokers. Would recommend this hotel if on a budget and plan to stay there again in about a month.

The Super 8 in Abilene was very nice. The staff was real pleasant and helpful. The location was great. I recommend this motel highly.

The room was filthy and disgusting it looked like it had never been cleaned. The room inside looked like it had never been cleaned in years, the door had a brown liquid that had ran down it and dried. The bathroom walls were also dirty, when you turned on the water to wash your hands water ran from underneath the faucet and all over the counter. There were homeless people milling about the area asking for money or rides somewhere. On the balcony outside of the room there appeared to be mold growing along the railing, it looks like it has not been updated or serviced since the mid 80's, overall a disappointing stay I will use Fairfield Inns from now on as they didn't even have the courtesy to address my complaint.
