The thing that was missing that would have made the stay a lot more enjoyable would have been for the staff to be more friendly and helpful.

There only a few things that we liked, friendly staff, and outside nice. Room smelled, dirty restroom, mold in shower. The hotel seemed to be nice from outside. Very nice landscaping, and friendly staff. As we walked down the hallway you could start smelling dirt. When you enter the room, you confirmed the smell. If we had not already paid, we would have stayed elsewhere.

If you book your room with this hotel online be careful that the hotel doesn't charge you twice for the room. The clerk insisted that my card be charged again saying that the room was not paid with my reservation. He was not knowledgable at all. I had to call the Monday after our trip to have the manager credit my account for being charged twice for the room. Very dissappointing. And the room was not clean. We could not even walk around the room without socks. The carpet was so gross that we threw out our socks after the trip. I do not reccomend this hotel at all.

Great hotel and very friendly staff & management. Stayed for 4 days on a business trip and the people were very helpful with every aspect. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Will surely be back again.

One lady on the evening shift. Location need have police. The bath tub had not been cleaned in a while & you could tell by the soap scum that was all around in the tub & the shower curtain had mold on it, the floor had not been vacuumed, there was trash all on the floor. It's in the bad part of town, also. We didn't feel safe at all, but stayed anyway. The picture hanging over the bed (just barely) had a broken glass in, which could have fallen out at any minute.

The Super 8 motel on Natchitoches was very comfortable, centrally located to areas of interest. the staff was very accomodating to our handicap needs and gave us a room that was very easily accessed. The beds were comfortable, the room had a microwave and small refrigerator in it, which was very convenient for storing food from the restaurants and reheating. The extra holding bars in the bathroom and the bathrub chair were very much appreciated and we hade good use of them. It made bathing much easier. the hotel was only a couple of miles from the Cane River downtown area, mile from NSU, and in the close vicinty of very good restaurants.

Easy to find. Charge for phone, refuse to notify of family emergency. Extra charge for phone. did not notify us when family called about emergency and was rude to family. were pushy about us leaving well before checkout time while we were trying to get dressed.
