Unlike the other old reviews, we stayed here on September 14th 2009. Rooms were clean, pool was open until 11:00pm and the Fitness center was an added plus. Close to many restaurants and even had a free airport shuttle. Friendly staff and breakfast was good. No burgers, just good old american breakfast with eggs, sausage, biscuits gravy and continental items. Will stay here again and again.

The hotel was nice. It was really close to where I needed to go for business and was also one of the least expensive in the area. I was a little disappointed that it did not have a fitness room.

Located near airport. Stayed here so kids could swim, but indoor pool closed at sundown so they didn't get to go. It was just OK. Was very disappointed because paid a bit extra so we could swim at indoor pool, but it closed very early before we even arrived for the day.

Good hotel, clean and good service. Really enjoyned my stay during 8 days. About the breakfast, the eggs could be better and hamburgers in the morning is not really healthy ! BUT, I will be there again next year !

Had reservations & got in town @ 10:00 AM, thought I'd make sure reservation was OK & they let me check in. WOW! Will stay here again. Great price & staff. Being remodeled.Quiet!

For starters I believed this hotel had an outdoor pool, which my children really wanted and it did not. The rooms were really cramped and the bed uncomfortable. The TV did not work properly and my mother almost fell in the bathroom when we first got there because the floor was so wet. There was also black bugs in the room. House keeping was there everyday and did clean some, we actually went and got some of our own cleaning supplies and clean the bathroom and the sink. The staff was very nice about getting us extra towels and giving us directions to various locations.

Quiet. They allowed dogs, staff was not professional. Checked in after 13 hours of driving and found out we had no hot water and went to front desk to find about 15 other guests with same problem, pool and hot tub were not working.when checking out another couple also checking out said that their jacuzzi did not work.On the 2nd floor the ice machine didn't work and the juice machine for the continental breakfast did not work. would never recommend staying here.

The stay was not positive at all. The hotel had toilet leaking problems and had to change us to a different room three times and we were finally able to get to sleep around 1 a.m. Called desk clerk about problems and they wouldn't return our calls. Had to go to front desk to resolve the issues. The breakfast was undercooked and below average. The only redeeming factor is that it is close to airport. There are better accomodations close by and convenient to the airport as well.

My room was clean and the staff was very nice. I would definately stay there again.

The Nashville Airport area Motel 8 was overall a good value. I was able to keep some food and drinks in the mini fridge and cook in the microwave. However, the air conditioner was not pumping out enough cool air to keep it from being warm in the room. The indoor pool would be a great option during the winter, but it was actually a little like a suana during the day. After checkout I had alot of time before my plane left and the staff was accomidating even after my checkout. They stowed my luggage and informed when a shuttle would be ready. Overall it was a good value.

The decorations, breakfast, location and morning hostess. Breakfast matrons attitude, some of the other staff's attitude. The hotel was a very nice place to stay in. It exceeded my expectations. I truly enjoyed my stay at that hotel and I recommend anyone to go.

We have stayed at this hotel off and on for the last 3 years. We have seen it all. This hotel has renovated the lobby with tiles and marble, freshly painted walls and re-carpeted the hallways. Our room was excellent, brand new furniture and furnishings, clean and comfortable. We spoke to a manager regarding the changes. She was concerned about the inconveniences and offered very low rates to compensate for the renovation activities taking place. It is nice to see finally see the transformation of this hotel. Staff at the counter and housekeeping have always been courteous. We always return because of southern hospitality at this hotel and it is certainly nice to see that after enduring tough times they are now almost done with completely renovating the place.

It was conveniently located. Just about everything. The bathroom door would not shut without a great deal of force. The room was really small. We had a refrigerator and microwave in the room, neither worked. The pool was overfilled and dirty, the Jacuzzi was in perfect working order but we couldn't use it because it hadn't been inspected yet. We were directed to enter the motel (after we checked in) to get to our room by the back door. The back door had no latch securing it let alone a lock on it. And to top it all off the toilet backed up and nearly overflowed.

I am a non smoker. Was told at the desk when I checked in that I had been assigned a smoking room, and that all non smoking rooms were booked. The error was blamed on the fact that I booked on the internet! Because of the lateness of my arrival, I did spend the night in a room that not only reeked of smoke, but was dirty and dingy and certainly unlike any of the pictures I had viewed online. Bad even for smokers!

Close to the airport. Roaches on the wall and broken windows and doors. The outside door at the end of the hall would not close. No security. There was a roach crawling on the wall, and my window was difficult to lock. I do not like first floor rooms, and this did not add to the feeling of insecurity. The front desk clerk was a smart alec, and assured me I would not find another room in the area. I went down the highway and found one without any trouble.

Used this hotel for an overnight stay to catch a plane to begin our honeymoon. When we arrived the outside looked good, minus the 5 or so guys in the parking lot having a tailgate party. Once you go inside however it is a totally different experience. The entire hotel seemed to be getting an overhaul at the same time. The lobby was destroyed and when we went to our room most every thing had a thin layer of drywall dust still on it. The bed was broken down and didnt even appear to be the right size as I made the reservation for. The drink machines didnt really work nor did the A/C. The only bonus is that the man at the counter informed me that I could leave my truck parked in the parking lot for the duration of my trip cheaper than I could at the airport. He was right of course, but I believe the security in thier parking lot was laking. I wouldnt take the chance of my vehicle getting damaged. Not for 4 dollars a day less.

Location close to downtown. Upkeep and maintenance were poor, doors to outside were left unlocked. Facility was under renovation, but several doors to outside were propped open and could be entered without any key. I felt very unsafe. Also there were bugs in the vanity, and no free internet despite advertising (there was supposed to be a LAN jack in the room but there wasn't one).

This hotel was very convenient to the airport! I did not like the TV reception. I like the convenience of the hotel compared to the airport.

Convenient location, easy access to downtown Nashville. Bed frame sticks out a little and could hurt your leg if you aren't careful. This was my second stay at this hotel. I find it very easy access to go downtown, just make a right onto Donnellson Pkwy., and a left on 70 and it takes you straight into heart of Nashville. Lots of close reasonable restaurants, not too bad/unsecured feeling of town. It's about what I'd expect for the price. They had the hot tub roped off and a light socket out of it when we were there the first night and that was disappointing, we never checked back on it. They are doing some renovating, but didn't disturb us in any way. Our room had a fridge and that was a bonus we didn't expect. Overall it's a decent hotel for the price, and I would stay a third time or more for sure.
