My husband and I were traveling through to San Antonio and needed a place to stop for the night. We checked in at 9:30 pm and checked out at 8:00 the next morning, so we didn't have time to experience much of the hotel. However, what we did experience was pleasant. The night desk clerk was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean (they had just gone through a remodeling project), the bed comfortable and there was plenty of hot water and good water pressure in the shower. The complementary continental breakfast was adequate with cereal, fruit, toast and bagels.

During my stay the place was very quiet. This was on a weekend. It took some time to get the internet connection working, and for a while the connection kept dropping. As a kid in high school I helped put the window units in place at this hotel. That was over thirty years ago. So be ready for that, it is over thirty years old. Nothing much has changed, except the owners. Even the same old Pit Grill restaurant next door, I did not eat there. The place was clean and quiet.

It was clean and convenient. I liked it all. This is a very pleasant motel in a place called Mount Pleasant!

Very convienent and hospitable. The restaurant on the prem. was too expensive. Would have liked more vending machines. Good hotel to stay at for a weekend. Nice area, people were very friendly. My family would stay there again.

Newly redecorated, clean, most amenities - very happily surprised! Liked everything! The hotel is conveniently located. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, and tastefully appointed. There was a hairdryer, coffeemaker, fridge, and a microwave - most of them new. We didn't expect all of that! We were very happy with our room. The price was a steal!

Good location, clean, cable. The hotel was fine, 2 people should always reflect 2 beds, unless other arrangements were made, with the motel, before the trip.

Newly remodeled, amenities perfect for the casual traveler on a budget. Nothing. We were in town for a funeral. This hotel gave us directions to our destination in a town closeby.The rooms were very clean.

The hotel was ok but the beds were a little hard. The restaurant next door was smoking only so I had to leave without breakfast. The hotel itself was alright. There was an exceptional Italian restaurant available for supper. However, the only close restaurant open for breakfast was smoking only and it was also the only one that was on my way so we had to drive for several hours without breakfast. I would not return but would go to a motel that is closer to other family friendly businesses.
