This was my first, and last experience with a Super 8. There was nothing Super about it. It was clean. The bathroom was at least 30-40 years old and looked it. The beds were passable, but barely. Not that I travel much, only about 150 to 250 times in the past 20 years all over the country.

Did not have Motel 8 sign visible. We drove around looking for our motel and finally stopped at a gas station and asked where Super 8 was located and was told that Super 8 was up behind Denny's. Motel was previously named something else and the Super 8 banner was hanging inside behind the check in desk; not outside in plain view. We'll not go back nor will we likely stay at a Super 8 again; we had another awful experience at the Super 8 in Marion, NC; same vacation.
