This hotel is under new ownership. In order to stay at this hotel guests are required to allow them to charge your credit card $70 as a "security deposit". The staff asks if they can swipe your card. I thought they were charging my room rate to the card. When I signed the receipt the front desk person said the card would be charged in the morning. I inquired what was charged on the card when she swiped it the first time. At that point she divulged it was a security deposit. I elected not to stay, received a credit to my credit card and drove to the Super8 in Mt. Vernon. No security deposit was required, the hotel was very clean and the staff was very nice

This is a real nice Motel. It is the second time we stayed there. We plan on staying there again when we are in town. Fast wireless for laptop, Micro,Coffee mach,fridge,desk,table all in room. Nice beds and clean room. Thank you for the great service. Gary
