False claims of Hi-speed internet Stayed for 2 months. Rooms appear like they have not been upgraded since the mid 80s and repaired as cheap as possible I depend on having internet access and was not able to conduct my normal business while there. Location Only has Wireless internet slower then Dial-UP even after their so called “Hi-Speed upgrade”. This is due to using a single home wireless router that is not designed for more than 5 people on at a time. I did not get any better results after complaining directly to the owner and manager. Half of their rooms don’t get a signal and the other that do, get knocked off constantly. Very Unprofessional and misleading for anyone traveling business . If you want internet go down the street to Best Western. My overall impression was the owners want to put as little into this place as possible to keep it running and have no desire to keep up with their competitors.

While this is far from deluxe accomodations, it was clean and quiet

the super 8 staff was very friendly from the first call to our check out time. we were running late to check in and called and the front desk took care of our check in and told us everything was taken care of and we wouldnt lose our room. we were greeted friendly when we got there and the staff every morning was very nice and the gentleman that made the coffee and had the breakfast set up.

The hotel is in a convenient and safe location, clean with polite staff. We missed the ironing board but luckily our clothes did not get wrinkle too much. As previously stated, the hotel is in a convenient and safe location for our purpose, with plenty of parking space, clean, with no-nonsense breakfast and polite staff.

We were looking for a clean comfortable and economic place to stay near Hartford and this Cromwell Super 8 did provide that. It was clean and the staff were friendly and accomodating as we were checking in early and they found a room for us. We had two rooms near each other and they were both clean and comfortable and spacious. We would not stay there again only because of it's location which did serve the purpose we were looking for however, there is not much to do or see in Cromwell. The town seems to shut down early as well as there was only one place open to eat in the later evening. So, the room did fine and served it's purpose but Cromwell does not get a good rating from me as it is certainly not a tourist town. With at least three hotels there you would think it would accomodate travelers a little bit. It was a Sunday night but we couldn't even get pizza as all was shut down.

Ease, location. Price. About as expected, no surprises.

I was very glad I read the other reviews, one hotel was $5 less a night but said it had plexiglass for the front desk. Glad I didn't stay there. The Super 8 was a fine, clean standard hotel. No frills, but clean if your on a budget. The breakfast is carbs only, the coffee was the worse, but there is a Dunkin every other street. The location was nice as well.

Wireless internet. Location. They advertised this as being close to Middletown and Wesleyan University, but were actually about 12 miles of back roads away. It's on a divided highway, so it's inconvenient to get in and out of. The bathroom was quite small, but the staff was friendly and the room seemed clean. The wireless internet worked.

There were no dining options or hotel amentities, although they did have free wireless internet.

Convenient location-near to freeway. Noise from road-my room was in front of hotel. Price was good. Could have used a refrigerator in the room, needed more hangers. Hotel was clean, bed was comfortable, had to have my room key re-set twice.

The hotel staff was very friendly and accomodating. The hotel was located within minutes of restaurants and a WalMart. Other than that it was not at all impressive. It was an older motel. The room decor bordered on depressing. In my opinion it was simply a place to sleep at the end of the day. The breakfast area was two or three tables in a corner. If you are just looking for a convenient place to stop overnight, with a reasonable rate stop here.

Clean, comfortable and affordable. The hotel met all of the standards of an affordable, clean, comfortable stay. The complimentary breakfast (bagels, cereal, muffins, coffee, and juice) was a perk.

i think the hotel was okay my only problem was with parking at night

Clean, bustling area w/stores & restaurants nearby. There was nothing negative about this hotel. Clean, friendly service. Accommodating to all our needs. Breakfast served in the morning with many choices of food and beverages. Room service excellent.
