From the out side it looked okay. The heat was nasty, carpet was so dirty you had to wear your shoes to the bathroom. This was the worst motel that I stayed at. When you sit on the middle of the bed the two ends come up. I could hardly walk after getting out of bed. The heater is uncontrollable, I had to leave the door open and people kept walking into my room.

Clean large rooms. Friendly, efficient staff. Good location. Close to Cal Exp and shopping mall. Needs TV upgrade

Our room was very clean. You could hear every thing in the next room. We enjoyed the room. Climbing stairs was hard for me as I have arthritis. For the money the room was very good. Everything was clean and the staff was very nice and accommodating.

the rooms are very clean. i was surprised the rooms actually have a small refridgerator and microwave. definitely recommended if you are on a tight budget and want a nice place to stay.

I check in at 5 pm, they are still cleaning the second floor room. I move in my stuff as they are finishing. I get some towels and take a shower (no bath fan). I leave for dinner but decide to check my card key, go to desk 3 different times it doesn't work. I get the desk guy to come with me this time, he goes for three more keys, one works! So I am off to dinner returned at midnight, key does not work, I get two more keys, they don't work. I get two more and bring the clerk, it doesn't work. Clerk gets a master key, it doesn't work. He gets house keeping key (no) he says there used to be an actual key for the locks but hasn't seen it in years. He calls maintenance guy (no answer), manager at home (no key) he calls building owner (no key). He decides to put me in the last empty room left, but since I have nothing of my stuff (medications) I say call a locksmith. He finally gets an actual key and I get my room at 2 am. Guess who wakes me at 7:30 am maintenance guy. Just say no way to this place!

The heating and cooling systems are old and cannot function at the same time. We spent a few warm nights because the cooling system had been turned off for the season. The continental breakfast was disappointing.

I liked that it was private and quite. The sign was small so it was a little hard to locate. I was very pleased with the over all location, and convenience of the location. The rooms were nice and was very pleased at the room and so was my family that had rooms there as well.

Check in was fast and friendly. The courtyard makes a hotel on a busy road seem a little more peaceful. They need to update their pictures though. There is no longer a hot tub at this hotel and the picture they are showing for the continental breakfast is not accurate. They do provide bagels and pre-packaged pastry along with coffee, but it is in a very small space in the lobby and no tables to sit at. Only served until 9:00am and it would be better if the hours went till 10:00am. Rooms were clean and there was maid service every day. Plenty of shopping and dining choices nearby.

Location is okay. HVAC system is antiquated, in-room fridge didn't shut. This motel needs a new HVAC system, you get either heat or cold provided by the motel depending upon the time of year, weather was unseasonably warm yet the heat was on. The room was hot! Shower curtain rod was falling out of the wall, hanging by a thread. The card lock entry didn't work in the first room I was assigned, so after three trips back to the lobby with cards that wouldn't work I was finally given a different room. Smoke from smoking rooms on first floor wafted up to non-smoking rooms upstairs, because heat was on, rooms were too hot so smokers downstairs left doors open to cool down.

Was a nice, clean, quiet room in a safe part of town. Good value for the money.

Courteous staff. Lobby nice, rooms - not so nice. Heater did not work. Door keys did not work, (neither did several other guest's keys), room phone did not work, all electricity items in room were unplugged, and I had to go through and plug everything in to use. Scared to use desk, because of serious stability issues. The only thing I can say good about hotel was the staff was friendly, and did get me another room after a while of fighting with the heater. Continental breakfast was muffins, juice, coffee, milk, and 2 kinds of cereal.

Hotel was a good place to stay. The room was clean and check in was hassle free.

Excellent for the money. Worse motels go for higher rates. A bit far from downtown. This motel is relatively clean and new. A bit far from downtown, but close to the Peppermill and Atlantis.

"Everything was decent - clean and simple. We were very disappointed that the pool was drained, as this was not mentioned when we booked the hotel online, with a view of a lovely filled pool."

The cost of the room was very reasonable. The room had no windows that could be opened for fresh air. This hotel needs a bigger sign, I drove by it twice. I have a bad back and usually can't sleep in most beds without pain, but surprisingly the bed was very comfortable even though it was nothing fancy.

Close to: Whole Foods Market, 24 hour fitness. The pillows and TV. This is a great no frills stay. There is a microwave and small fridge so you can avoid eating out if desired. There is a decent 24 hour fitness around the corner and a Whole Foods Market next door which has excellent hot food and salad bar offerings (not cheap, but less than a restaurant). If you're looking for those conveniences and no glitz this is your place. Bring your own pillow!

Very nice and clean. None. Will recommend-liked the location, there were resturants around the hotel open late, very clean, room was a good size and good price.

Nothing. Heater didn't work. Motel 8, don't waste your time.

Very well kept swimming pool. Lightning in vanity area-TV came on in middle of the night and could not shut it off-mailed postcards from front desk and they never were received. Too much construction and remodeling going on. Areas were blocked off for days at a time.
