I was in Virgina visiting my boyfriend and watching him play baseball. It was a great trip, EXCEPT for the hotel. It was not the cleanest, the TV didn't work, there were problems with the water...AND the worst thing: I went to spend a night with a friend and when I returned, not only had they thrown out all my groceries but they rented my room out to someone else(and the room had been prepaid). Then they lied about it...It was the worst hotel stay EVER and we travel a lot in different parts of the world. I am sure not all the Super 8's are run like this one, but STAY AWAY from the Martinsville Super 8.

This Super 8 Motel was operated by friendly staff and support personnel. Our request for additional towels and soaps was met with an immediate and friendly response. The room was small for the price and the continental breakfast could have offered more variety. Even though we stayed during a Nascar race weekend the price per room per night was quite high considering the area and limited amenities within the motel itself. The beds were clean but not overly comfortable. Nearby there are a number of excellent restaurants and it offers easy and convenient access to the racetrack and local stores.
