I have never stayed there before, but it had a three star rating at the time I booked my reservation. I thought it would be fine. I was very disappointed. It is close to Martinsburg as far as food and shopping. I thought the room was dark, and it had a musty smell. I will never stay there again.

It was pretty quiet in the halls during my stay, personnel were friendly. The place was very outdated, bed linens were stained and torn, check-in/breakfast area was very small. Hotel was very outdated. Check-in was easy but it took me 10 minutes to find someone to check me out-when you ring the service bell it takes a few buzzes before anyone arrives to the desk. Not the cleanest place to stay, but if you're going to be out and about all day and just sleeping in the hotel it's not that big of a problem. Shower and bathroom did not look very clean, refrigerator was not turned on when we arrived, stains on pillows and torn comforter were disturbing. Over all we had a good stay, keeping busy outdoors most of the day and evening.

This hotel is very dirty. The sheets were stained and dirty, the curtains had mold on them, and the Air conditions did not work properly. They say they have a continental breakfast but all I saw was a choice of two kinds of cereal and coffee. The first floor smelled so bad, that you had to hold your breath while walking by.

The bathroom's exhaust fan didn't work; the bathroom smelled unwashed (like urine) and the tub hadn't been scrubbed. The bed was fine. The location was fine - in the locale where one would fine the big food chains and inexpensive hotel chains.

The tub and sink drains did not work. Tub drain was filthy. It is an older facility. But I would have expected the drains in the sink & shower would have worked & been cleaner. We got in late & left at 5 am, so we did not want to waste time changing rooms.

"The room was very dirty. There was a condom left under the reclining chair, The carpet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. (you stuck to it when you walked) I wouldn't wish this over priced flea bag on my hotel to anyone. The management at Super 8 should pull there franchise!"

The smell was horrible! Incense and curry were very strong. This is a great hotel for transients. The rooms were ultra modest and not clean. There are families associated with the hotel that live onsite in the rooms and the smell of curry and insense will give one a headache and make you sick to your stomach. At 4:00 in the morning I had to step into the hall and tell them to be quiet because they were out there with their doors open and talking way too loud. These were folks working at the hotel!

Helpful to my needs and wants, and our free samples was very nice. The smell in the hallways and room lobby did not smell. This hotel isn't to bad for people that's not picky. The heating/air conditioners, really need to be kept up and cleaned. It smelled very bad and was extremely dirty. People were very nice but some weren't able to speak English very clearly and hard to understand. It was part of my honey moon vacation so I had a great time either way.

Basic facilities. Clean. Staff helpful, warm. It was cold when we visited. Room basic and clean. Showere basic but clean. Good economy motel. Just a bit small. Parking spaces very small. Hard to park bigger SUVs and Vans. Right off highway exit. Clean, warm basic Super 8 hotel. Continental breakfast is frugal. Raisin bran, Fruit loops, mini muffins and english muffins you can toast. Coffee comes in urn so don't expect fresh coffee. Orange juice and apple juice. But down the road are several places for a full breakfast. Heating was good in room. It was very cold when we visited and we were grateful to come into a cosy motel. Rooms basic, adequate and nice and clean ( no horrible dust bunnies) just don't expect luxury. Clean. Think it has been re-carpeted and partly renovated recently.

Compared to other hotels in the area the value was great! The pillows were very flat. They need replaced. The hotel was very clean, comfortable and friendly. We recommend staying here. The pillows were flat that was our only problem.

Convenient to interstate 81, quiet, comfortable. Slightly outdated and could use some spring cleaning. Overall my stay was fine. The hotel was very quiet, and convenient to I-81 and Rt. 9. The amenities were nice--I did not pay extra for a refrigerator, microwave, and hairdryer. The only thing I was slightly unsettled about was the cleanliness of the bath tub. I felt the walls and floor of the tub could have been bleached to a whiter finish. I would stay in this hotel again and will likely book again for July.

They were courteous and gave me assistance when I needed it. No iron in the room. It is a very nice place to stop on a business trip. It's close to a major roadway and close to the place where my meeting was held. I would go back again.
