We couldn't get an extra pillow or towels, we were told they were all out. The shower was scalding hot one second and then ice cold the next. We make a yearly trip to southern Illinois and have stayed at this Super 8 several times. However, we won't be staying there again.

Location only. We were offered a smoking room (only available), queen size bed (my husband is big), two small pillows, nothing more available. This was a very disappointing experience. I will never bid on a 2 or 1 star hotel from Priceline anymore. We were given a smoking room!! And we were told it was the last room so it was a take it or leave. My husband is very tall and all they had was a queen size bedroom. We wanted extra pillows they didn't have. Frankly, $80 for that? Never again.

The room was clean, quiet and we enjoyed a good nights rest. The staff was very friendly. Excellent waffles for breakfast.

We were traveling from Georgia to Chicago and just needed some place clean and safe to sleep half-way to our destination. The Super 8 was great! Good price and the room was very nice. We have a 3 year old and I was very comfortable with her being in the room - no safety or sanitary issues. Ryans buffet is only a couple doors down and has wonderful homecooked offerings - we stuffed ourselves. The staff at the hotel was extremely efficient and very friendly. This is not a luxury hotel and does not pretend to be, but for a safe, clean overnight stay it is great!

Amazing service, great looking room! From the time I checked into this hotel until the day I left I was blown away. The lady at check in was AMAZING, she knew exactly who I was before I even said a word (like she was waiting on me). When I got to my room I was flabbergasted. Huge room, Crazy big Bathroom, this place even had a living room area with a couch and recliner. This hotel is top of the line and the people who work there are great.

We have stayed here twice. Very good value for the price. We were attracted by the add in a travel discount book obtained at the IL Visitor Center. Staff is very friendly and accomodating and the continental breakfast very good for a traveler.

It was great! Would stay again. The seating for breakfast is very limited. We will use this hotel again as this is a great 1/2 way point for our family trip! It was cute and clean and the price was great for those on a budget! We got there at 11:45 pm and were greeted by a very nice young lady who was quick to check us in as we had a sleeping child. The room was clean and had a small fridge and microwave too. The breakfast area is a bit small, only 3 or 4 tables, but had a good variety of choices to start your day. On a grading scale of A,B,C,D,F. I would give it a B-.

Rude Staff at Check-in and when asking for change. Dirty room, dust in corners. Lots of noise coming through the walls from other rooms. This was not a pleasant place to stay.

Location. Lack of cleanliness. It is older and needs renovation and cleaning.

the pillows were the worst, and smoking and non smoking were side by side. but the rooms were very clean and sevice was great. and they had dog bones for your furry friends. and the breakfast was great. and you felt very safe. have to watch their pricing though, they want to charge by the person

The room was very comfortable and the free breakfast exceeded expectations. Other than no on site laundry, no complaints. A very nice Super 8. Beds were very comfortable (and I usually get woken up by back pain in most hotel beds), in room fridge and microwave great for long stay, very aesthetically pleasing room, many businesses nearby.

It was clean, friendly and above my expectations. The hallways had a weird odor. I was so surprised, I expected something not so great and on the contrary this place was perfect for the need we had. We just needed a place to sleep the night after a long drive and a day filled with a lot of activities. We sleep like logs!

Clean and reasonable. Noise above us! This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and for the money. I think it is a good place to stay.

Breakfast bar was great & allowed smoking in room. Did not appreciate the added fee for the room safe. The room was nicer than I thought it would be. I appreciated the iron & board in the room. I ate at the breakfast bar every day I was there, especially nice was the waffle maker. The room was cleaned properly every day.

They were very rude - simply told me hotel policy. They would not let me check in because hotel policy is check in at 11 a.m. and I had to wait 5 hours in my car after 14 hours of drive. I arrived at 6 AM in the morning after 14 hours of drive and came to know that 11 AM is the check in time. The receptionist did not care and asked me to get back at 11 AM and I had to sit in my car till 11 AM from 6 AM. I did ask her to let me use the rest room and the receptionist told me that the rest rooms are for checked in customers only. I had to sit in my car for 5 hours patiently waiting for 11 AM. I told the receptionist that I needed the room for only 30 minutes just to have a shower and use the rest room. She told me that the check in time was 11 AM. I checked in at 11 AM and used the rest room and had a shower and left the hotel in 30 minutes. I do agree that I might have come before the check in time but I never had this kind of experience in any of the service industry in my life and nor in any hotel in my entire life. From rules and regulations point of view, the hotel management could be right but what's a big deal to let a guy have a shower and use the rest room who comes after 14 hours of drive - whets a big deal u let him check in a few hours earlier as it is the guy is leaving in 30 minutes.

Good room. Building reeks of cigarette smoke. If you're stuck in Marion during a bad snowstorm, this may be a great option. If there are other places available - check them out.

I was impressed with updated facility, cleaniness and breakfast choices. My wife and I enjoyed our 1 night stay. This was a well maintained facility.

Location. Smelled bad-cigarette smoke. The Super 8 served our purpose for a place to sleep after driving many hours but it was not as nice as other places we have stayed in the same star level and price. I would not like to stay there again due to the bad smell of stale cigarettes.

Excellent continental breakfast; Very good cleaning staff. Nothing that I can think of. We go to this every year at Memorial Day to decorate family graves. The proximity of this motel is excellent for our purpose. The amenities they provide are all we require.
