The shower does not get hot. The bed slopes. the tolet set is to small for even a little man. the pool had a thick layer of alge gowing on top.

Hotel staff was great. Dogs allowed which barked all night. Swimming pool was non operational, refrigerator did not work, noisy air conditioning unit.

When our family entered the room, it stunk. The microwave had molded pizza inside it. The refrig had mold all in it. Roaches "GALORE". I notified the front desk and complained, they did send housekeeping to clean out the microwave and the next day I left a note asking for them to clean out the frig. The maintance man left a gallon of bug spray in our room for us to spray for bugs. This place needs to be shut down, I will never ever stay at this place again. Please rethink about staying at a place like this.

The hotel was older and a little run-down, but reasonably clean and priced. The staff was outstandingly helpful and friendly. They made my stay go from just OK to excellent. The hotel is also extremely close to Fort Sill, which was a big plus.

I liked that the hotel was located close to the base that I was going to visit my husband at. The description said that it had a pool but the pool was empty and it was very hot.

We had cockroaches in our rooms. We understand the motel was being renovated, but there was garbage left outside for 2 days (an empty pizza box on the sidewalk). One front desk employee had no desire to make coffee, (which we were under the impression was supposed to be available 24/7) and we had to make our own. The maintenance guys were GREAT. They helped out whenever it was needed. As far as I'm concerned the only good thing about it was we were only about 5 minutes from Ft SIll (where my son was graduating from Basic Training). Thanks for letting me speak my piece!!!

The Super Motel 8 should take the Super off its name. The rate for the room was a little to hight for the quality of the room. This place is in desperate need of repairs, light fixtures looked that they were going to fall of from the walls. The doors were not sealing properly and air filtrated in. I rent two rooms and right away we have problems with the appliances and the TV in one of them; there were roaches in the room and ocasionaly I saw very tiny roaches in the room I was in but I put up with it. I must complement the hotel on the fact that once I complaint about the raoches the management move my son and his kids from that room into a much better one and apologize for the inconvenient. The location was great, I went there for my sons Basic Training graduation at Fort Sill and everything was very centric and accessible, the hotel is next to a major highway and easy to get to it. The facility the definitely needs serious improvements.

the shower didn't drain, you had to hold the handle on toilet just right to flush or it would fall out, there was hair all over even in the bed. floor needed cleaned. when the air conditionercame on it soundedlike the fan was going to blow up in to a million pieces. it looked real nice in the pictures, but on arrival it looked like it had not been cleaned since they had taken the pictures. there were people standing around outside that looked like they didn't belong there. the room above us sounded like they were having an exercise class that lasted until 3:00 am. front desk didn't seem to care. would not have stayed if there were any other motels that had rooms available and would not reccomend to other.

we stayed at the super 8 motel in lawton in september. the location was a short drive to ft.sill and the main street,cache st. which has everything you may need, dining, gas staions, malls ect. the hotel was very clean and comfortable.

Absolutely nothing. It was in an extremely dangerous area. I wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy. I did not stay, I ended up getting a room at another hotel. Absolutely horrible experience!! Dangerous area with gangs in the apartment parking lot next door.

The staff was friendly, but so were the bugs! There were cockroaches and crickets in our room, in the bathroom, and on our BEDS! We complained to the front desk and they sent a maintenaince man to spray our room. We saw even more. That night they were again climbing onto our beds, and the next morning there were more than 20 dead roaches on the floor. I actually took pictures of the dead bugs all over the floor. All of the rooms near us had the same problem. Needless to say we did not sleep much, and we will never return to this particular hotel.

Great location for a graduation weekend at Fort Sill. Everyone was helpful and understanding.Breakfast was yummy! And the pool was wonderful in the 100+ degree heat!

"Was hoping to give a good rating to Super8. Wanted a clean, inexpensive place to sleep while visiting Grandpa in the hospital. At first glance it looked ok. With further inspection I was wishing I had spent more money and stayed elsewhere. The carpet needs cleaned. The patch on the ceiling where it had flooded above was ugly & dirty looking. The bathroom smelled bad. There was a battery in the sink drain; Trash under bedskirt and behind armoire. Didn't clean room or bring fresh towels. Only positive - young counter guy was nice. Next time - $20 more for cleaner room."

Motel Eight was very isolated and difficult to locate. Room did not have a remote for the TV,only five stations. No refrigerator or microwave. Shower nob fell off. Roaches in the bathroom. Trash on the out side where they were renovatining. This was our second room. First room paint was peeling off the tub. The room smelled like smoke. I did complained to the staff.

Proximity to Ft. Sill and park and museums. The pool was green. I would have liked to have bed lamps that worked and sink faucet that did not wobble.

"You get what you pay for. There are no amenities like blow dryers, coffee makers, etc. but you get a bed and it does have an outdoor pool. If all you need is a place to sleep, this is it. It is clean."

Motel 8 in Laawton was a nice place for the money. It was very easy to get to. The beds were very comfortable and it was clean and neat.

The remodeling consisted of paint. There was mold in the bathrooms. The toilet ran all night. The toilet was not secured to the floor. All the calking was cracked around the tub and sink. Towels and toilet paper were worse than sandpaper. The cold air just blew into the room as there was no weather stripping around the doors, and a 1 inch crack at the bottom for bugs to crawl in, and they did. We had spiders in our rooms. Next time they remodel, hire contractors to do the job right. Don't just paint to hide the defects.
