Front entrance was hardly ever locked. Elevator smelled bad. Breakfast selection was lousy and not enough. One of the worst Super 8 I have ever stayed in.
Date of Stay:
May, 2009
Bed comfortable and they provided double pillows. No hair dryer poor breakfast facility.
Date of Stay:

This place is a dump. It is very dirty, there was hair in the shower, it was just gross. The carpet wasn't clean. They didn't change the garbages at all. They took our pizza and threw it out, and we were going to eat it yet. It was almost a whole pizza. The breakfast is only open til 9am

The room was dirty and the building had seen its best days long ago. The beds were uncomfortable and we kept sliding to the middle all night. The desk clerk said they had a luggage cart but he didn't know where it was. The breakfast area was small and crowded -- only 3 tables with 2 chairs each. The second night there were very noisy people above us that kept us awake all night. The only good thing about it was that it was cheap. All in all it wasn't worth the savings. I'll know better than to stay here again.

the hotel carpeting was very dirty, elevator door needed repair. there was no lock on the entrance to the first floor hallway from the outside. door was unlocked all night.

Convenient location. None. As with most of the Super 8s we have stayed in, the staff is courteous and efficient. The location is convenient. The rooms are well taken care of.

The room was clean but the sheets were too small and kept coming off. It was very annoying. The hotel was right on Rt 30 and was very noisy. We only saw the front desk clerk on check in and check out. And we requested a non smoking room but the whole hallway reeked of smoke NOT GOOD

Ideal location for shopping. Inexpensive and fine.

Nothing! It was horrible. It stunk terrible, dirty sheets and pillows.
Date of Stay:

The room itself was nicer than we expected, considering the price. My biggest complaint is the bed, which was so hard it was like sleeping on a wood board.

Old-appearance, not updated. This hotel met our needs of just having a place to rest for the night. Nothing exceptional, but clean.

This hotel was in need of a deep clean and remodel. The rooms smelled like chlorine and funk mixed together. There was something sticky all over the vanity and the table. There were hairs and dirt in the tub, and a nasty brown goo on the ice bucket. The beds felt like bricks and you can tell they only vacuumed in the center of the room. The edging of the blue carpet was gray with dust and dirt. They claim that you need a key card to open the outside doors, but the one we used was broken and the door wouldn't shut. Not very safe.We were only in the room for a max of 6 hours to sleep, so we just dealt with it. But we would never, ever, ever come back again.

Location was good. You had your own private entrance. It was clean. Continental breakfast room was much too small. Not enough grills for pancakes and tables to eat at. Not enough toasters. In line-up was too long. The hotel was good. We would stay at it again however it was not a 5 star hotel by any means. Bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. It was also quiet. We are a senior couple in our early 70's so it suited us just fine.

The staff were friendly and it was a good price but the rooms were not cleaned well. On my next trip to Lancaster I will stay somewhere else.

Nothing. Dirty rooms, Horrible beds, was given key to someone else's room, needs a major, major make over. Would not to go or recommend to anyone. The only thing that was decent. Was the staff friendly. The rooms, bedding dirty. Very uncomfortable to sleep on. Was given a key to a room all ready taken. They got a big surprise when we opened their room with our key. So they then had to give us another room. Has to be one of the worst hotels I've ever been at. So filthy. Smells horrible. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Not even my dog. Either get a make over. Or shut it down.

Rooms were dirty, people running tv way loud at 3am and kids running loose. TVtoo loud in another room at 3 am. kids running the halls yelling at 3am. Rooms dirty. Never stay there again.

I didn't like anything about this hotel. This hotel is unclean and disgusting. This hotel should be closed, torn down and rebuilt. I would never make another reservation at a super 8 with the exception on the one in Franklin, PA. Where we have stayed before!

August, 2007
This is a nice hotel that is right on the main drag. There?s a lot of shopping and places to eat near by. I would stay here again. The only thing negative was that the hallways were extremely hot and when you first walked into the room it smelled like wet towels. While checking out I heard another guest mentioning to the front desk that their room also smelled this way. I believe it was coming from the shower curtain. After a while smell did go away. Lastly, the free morning breakfast was good.
Date of Stay:

The roof didn't leak. The halls stank; the room stank, smelled like a damp basement. Only one entrance or exit in front and rear. The bed was old and wore out. Rips and stains on sheets and covers, I've thrown better away. Didn't look like the room was cleaned from the last guest.

"We have been coming to the Super 8 for a while now. We come to Lancaster for buggy rides and local attractions. The Super 8 has improved greatly since last year, there's high speed internet which I was free, breakfast had all sorts of choices, rooms were clean and the staff was friendly as usual. This is the place you stay at when you visit Lancaster. Enjoy!"
