The Hotel was out of Power due to a Tornado. I do understand that is not their fault. That's why I patiently waited for 6 hrs. Every 2 hrs I tried to get an update on the situation, but the Manager and the desk clerk were cowardly hiding from all of the patrons. They did open a room for everyone who came in, but that is all that they did. A little information would have went a long way with us and the others. The rooms were dirty, small and not worth the price they are asking. When I called Super 8 I was sent to customer service each time wich was not open till the next morning. I was treated rudely and hung up on. Yes I was aggitated but not swearing at them. I only wanted them to find me another location to stay. I don't believe that was to much to ask.

Receptionist. Pool was not open, garbage all over outside of hotel, rooms were extremely shabby. We stayed on the noisy side of the hotel, right by the freeway. The room was very shabby. An effort was being made to clean the place up but it has a long way to go.

clean, convenient, o.k. for the money could not understand owner when he tried to converse with us hotel was o.k. and the staff and owners tried very much to make things good for their customers. The room rug was not appealing to walk barefoot and the furniture was old style, but a refrigerator, microwave, table/chairs, couch was provided which makes the stay feel homey and comfortable. The owner did not speak English very well and we found it difficult to communicate in general conversation. Overall, I'd stay here again for the economy price.

Friendly staff. Comfortable beds, but one was wet when we pulled sheets back. Staff was friendly and quick to move us to a different room.

The room was not what I would call clean. We selected this hotel because we couldn't find anything else in Memphis during the time we were going. The room was not so bad that I didn't want to get in the bed, but it definitely was not clean. The tub was stained and there was a powder like material on the carpet going into the bathroom. I think that the rooms are swept rather than vacuumed. Would not recommend, but would not say "don't stay here".
