tub wouldn't drain, had to hold toilet handle, bathroom floor had not been swept, walls needed to be wiped down. Only two fast food joints across from the hotel.

Friendly service. This hotel was a little nicer than some of the other Super 8s at which we have stayed, which may be reflected in the slightly higher price. It's location is convenient for travelers around this part of north central Iowa. The front desk attendants were very nice. Otherwise, it pretty much met expectations, nothing special but nothing to complain about.

We asked for a non-smoking; found 'dead' cig. butt in room; given handicapped room, why? room smelled inspite of spray.

The desk clerks were proficient in their work. They were also courteous and friendly. My room had a very light mustiness to it which I fixed by airing it out for a few minutes. The hotel was located outside of the City which was good. A food store and restaurant were nearby also. The room was good and the staff at the motel was polite and helpful.
