The price was excellent, the room was clean and cool - great value! An elevator would have been nice, but it really didn't bother us that much not to have one. Our room was much nicer than we expected for the size of the town we were in. The carpet in our room was very clean, and the whole room was very neat, clean, and the air-conditioning was cool. Before leaving, we were shown a much nicer room than ours and a suite. Both could be rented for a very reasonable price. Those two rooms were very beautiful and very unexpected in a Motel 8. I would definitely recommend that anyone going to Imlay City check into renting those newly renovated rooms and suites. Our non-smoking room certainly exceeded our expectations. Our daughter, son-in-law, and grand daughter had a bad experience staying at a more expensive motel in Imlay City and wished that they had stayed at the Motel 8 with us.

The staff was very nice. Everything was good. We were just there to visit my brother-in-law so we were not at the motel very long.
