Room Interior- I do not know how all rooms smell, however our non-smoking room reaked of smoke and other foul odors(i.e mildew). The room was just dirty, dingy looking. The remote didnt even work for the televison. There was a board over the window that vibrated horribly throughout the night. The old small ac was not adequate in cooling the room, it took a very long time to cool it off. Comfort Level You can not sleep in this motel due to the thin walls and floors, and vibrating. You can actually here people running upstairs in the downstairs rooms. The walls are so thin you can here people talking as well as all the other people going in and out of their room. It seems as if they are breaking into your room. Value for Price It is not worth it. You will do much better to add 5-10 more dollars and enjoy your nights sleep. Never book for more than one night if you just are too dead to drive anywhere else. Customer Service When told of foul odor and asked for air freshners, they said it was available but you had to go to it yourself. This motel's personel are very un-professional. They do not try to work with the customer when problems arise.

great staff, clean rooms and good location for all your needs. there was lots of room to move around and the breakfast was good.the hotel was old but clean.no elevator for the tired driver.but over all a good stay.

Nothing. This hotel is very unkempt. The lobby was hot and the windows were open to cool the stairs, allowing insects to come in. The bathroom door had a hole in it where someone had punched it. The ceiling above the bathtub had mold growing.

It was clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. The chair in the room we stayed in had torn upholstery. The room was clean and comfortable, although it had a slightly worn look about it. The housekeeping service was top notch! The complimentary breakfast was nice as well. It met our needs.

Nothing. It was awful. Very dirty no security. Bad breakfast. I travel and stay in hotels at least 2 times per month. I would never stay in this hotel again. It was dirty, smelled, and very run down.

The front desk lady clerk was very nice and graciously changed my room from smoking to non-smoking. Could not locate it without directions from two different people, even though I had directions, It was very difficult to find. Suitable for business. Nice to have iron, blow-dryer. Smoking room was too overwhelmingly stinky. Moved to non-smoking room, much better!

Location. Run down. The hotel has a good location for south Birmingham, but it is not very up to date as far as furnishings. It needs a good remodel!
