Room was too small and dirty. The only thing good was the location since it was near to attractions like Kodak Theater.

Great view of the Hollywood sign, clean bathroom & the bed was actually comfortable. Very small room, stains and holes on the sheets & the motel seemed kind of sketchy. The man at the front desk was sleeping when we called down for extra pillows and then was very rude, and told us they have absolutely no extra pillows in the whole motel. The room and the entire hotel had a musty smell and a sketchy feel. The other employees were very nice and helpful though and we did have a great view from our room.

Saw the Hollywood sign from our room!!!! Great location between Sunset & Hollywood boulevards Clean and spacious rooms

Located on top of a seedy club ( I didn't enter it but seemed like a strip club )Neighbourhood did not look safe.Wireless internet service only worked in the common area.Breakfast was supposed to be for 2 hours but they stopped donut service as soonas the first batch ran out. It was not until I asked for it would the owner go and do something. The checkin counter person was pathetically slow.My room had a wash basin, the stopper of which would not function.cleanliness was not upto the mark. I would have not written the review, but the breakfast episode clearly triggered me todo so. All in the all the owner seemed to be just cheap, who would not like to hold upa basic level of service.

Not in a good neighborhood, but it is 2 blocks from the metro subway. From there it was a fast hook up to Hollywood/Highland area and Universal Studios. Front desk staff was kind of stoic but helpful when needed. Maids are super friendly and helpful.

Room Amenities, close to laundry, food, drug stores, etc. Cleanliness.

The room was very big and clean. Location was excellent - close to many tourist attractions and only one block off Hollywood Boulevard. Breakfast was basic but this was only a minor issue. We will stay there again.

Rudest hotel staff ever!!!! No coffee at six. Bad internet. The first night we were above the gay bar with live music. No problem with the gay part, however, I hate bass when I'm trying to sleep. Room had no smoke detectors, which is unfortunate when you're the only no smoking room on the entire floor. The elevator had been in disrepair for at least a week, so we got to hear the banging of the stairwell door every time someone came up. There was mold on the ceiling of the bathroom. The toilet wasn't installed correctly, so urine and whatever was seeping onto the bathroom floor. The hair dryer was broken at some critical connection points that could have fried a person-- not to mention that the outlet wasn't installed properly.A fresh paint job clearly done by the two year old grandson of the hotel owner.Second night we switched rooms. Not much better. Lots of noise. Evidently smoking on the stairs is ok. Toilet leaking. Mold. Poor lighting. The list! It goes on...I particularly loved the odd homeless man that seems to do things around the hotel-- including housekeeping.

the hotel was easy to find. first breakfast no jelly and no cream cheese. spider in the bed, rooms smelling awefull, worker not really friendly

In fact there was nothing I liked about this hotel. It is an obscure, filthy place which doesn't worth the money you pay. I wouldn't stay again in that hotel and I don't recommend to anybody.
Date of Stay:

Given what you pay to stay the hotel is good value. Staff were very helpful. No location is convenient in LA but this place is near Sunset and Santa Monica Blvds so there are plenty of buses. There is a major supermarket across the road.

It's an OK 2-star hotel, just don't forget it's only 2 stars and don't expect any more. The rooms are pretty clean, but that's about itThe bed was close to falling apart, and in general everything looked shakyThe breakfast is scarce and goes very fast. The lobby looks like it's a motel from some sort of a "murder along the highway" movie, the only thing missing is a cage around the receptionistParking lot is tiny and getting the car in or out when it's nearly full is a horrible trialBut overall it's a relatively inexpensive and not completely horrible place and I can't really complain about the location - it's within 5 minutes drive from Hollywood blvd.

The worst hotel check ins we have ever experienced! I rented two rooms for 2 nights and I paid almost $160.00/room but we were so unhappy and unsatisfied! The rooms were not really clean, the bathroom doors are both broken, shower curtains are so gross with stains like poop, there's no toiletries like soap and shampoo, towels are so tiny, no foot towel, curtain rods are all crooked that i had to use my hair clamp to hold the curtains together, i didn't sleep because I hear sounds upstairs, no dresser, not enough pillows, and they said it includes breakfast but we didn't even get any donut and barely no coffee. We stayed just to go to Universal Studio and Hollywood. We stayed at a very nice Cannery hotel and casino in Las Vegas for 3 nights and we got everything we need, so clean and comfortable, quite, cool, almost like a 4star hotel and we only paid $100.00 for three nights. Now, for all the inconveniences, WE WANT OUR MONEY BACK FROM THIS SUPER 8 IN L.A.

Great location. NA This is a great hotel for the solo traveler who needs just a room to sleep in at night. Plenty of parking in the back lot, decent neighborhood, friendly and attentive staff, clean rooms and a refrigerator too!

The Location is not so Bad....You are right next to 24 hour Walgreens...However the staff is rude and the room we stayed in along with the elevator had the worst smell ever! I spent $15 in air fresheners..When you opened the door to our room you can smell the stench all around! I won't ever stay here again!
Date of Stay:

The motel staff was friendly and responsive. Mold on shower curtain, no towels, broken furniture, dirty feel. Motel 6 is cleaner.
