I stayed in this hotel last night and I was quite satisfied. I guess it depends on what you're looking for in a motel. I just needed a place to sack out to split up a 12 hour trip. Some have complained about noise from nearby I-86 (NY-17). I stayed in a back room with I-86 outside my window (it's not that close) and did not hear any traffic noises at all. Internet is provided via an ethernet cable, so you won't have to worry about URL settings as we have experienced in other wireless motels. I did not use it as I have an air card, so I can't judge the service. There are many restaurants in the area, contrary to what others have said. There's a Ponderosa and a Pizza Hut near by for a more restauranty type of eatery, and Subway, McDonnalds and Burger King for the fast food fans. There is also "name brand" gas in the immediate vicinity. I might suggest a third floor room if you can get it. The floors above tend to make noises. The floor boards seem to move somewhat. But I did not hear any other noises from adjoining rooms, and the motel was full for the night I stayed. The heating and cooling is a little quirky, as someone mentioned in another review. You may be hot one minute and cool the next. However, I think that might depend on the time of year. Room tax is pretty standard in the motels I have stayed in. Mine was $6.71, which seems reasonable. And the price for the room was, IMHO, extremely reasonable. As far as I'm concerned, the location is fabulous - just 1/2 mile from the exit. Continental breakfast? Well, I didn't stay for it, but this is a motel, not a restaurant, and something for free has got to be better than nothing.

Very convenient location, right off highway and main streets. Heat in the room was difficult to adjust. Mattress was hard. The room was nice, with a flat screen TV, coffee maker and refrigerator. Very convenient to everything in Bath. The heat was difficult to adjust. The room was sauna-like with the heat on, but cooled quickly when turned off. The room was very clean, but the mattress was hard.

The only good thing I can say is the room was very clean. Bed was like sleeping on a slab of cement. Bath room is tiny! TV was on it's last leg, everything is a light pink or grey. Rooms are not quiet. You can hear everyone else around you walking, coughing, ect. You hear I86 traffic all night. Continental breakfast a joke.

good value; good service We were moved to the third floor at our request away from a somewhat noisy bunch on the first night. The desk people were extremely accomodating and informative. A good base of operations with a very reasonable price tag

The Super 8 provided a clean room with a comfortable bed. The air conditioner worked well on a very hot humid weekend. The mini fridge and microwave were an added bonus. The room also had a recliner which was perfect for reading or watching TV. The location was good for the activity we were attending. It was easy to find the hotel once we entered the town. We did not find a restaurant close to the hotel but a short drive to the next town gave us many options. Good basic room at a reasonable price.

Very helpful staff, close to what we were doing, quiet. No ATM. We were doing the winery tour that weekend with his daughter and wanted a place to stay (he smokes) that was near Keuka Lake but not a bed and breakfasty place. We needed rooms for one night on the weekend and they were able to accommodate, many places want you to be there for two nights.

The manager was very accommodating. Free internet access. Outlet looked unsafe. No dining facility for breakfast. The price was okay, although they added a $10 hotel tax that seemed high. The accommodations were economical.
