What transport is available to get around?: To get to the center of town and most attractions, you could take the trolley system that comes through every hour 7:00a.m until 9:00p.m. We do not have Metro, taxis, or trains close by. The closest taxi would have to come from Chambersburg, PA or Hagerstown, MD.
What can I do nearby?: We are located exactly 1 mile from downtown Gettysburg, approximately 10 miles from the National Battlefield Museum and Visitors Center, close to Jennie Wade House as well as Lincoln Train Museum, Civil War Museum, etc. Located directly in front of our hotel is a Perkins Restaurant, we are also just 1 mile from a Wal-Mart, McDonald's and a Sheetz Gas Station along with other fast food restaurants.
