The motel from the entrance is a bad site. The parking lot has pot holes big enough to get lost in. There is a empty building next to the property that only goes on to warn you this is not a good location to stay. The room was not clean when entered. There was food between the bed and nightstand that had not been picked up. The linens had stains and the entire room felt dirty. When we woke up we found bugs and ants all over. They were crawing all over the night stand, bathroon vanity area and bathroom flooring. It was a prepaid two night stay. We asked for a refund for the second night because we were not going to spend another night there. There was no management staff on duty in morning to assist us. Front desk staff provided us with phone information only to reach management. And no refunds were givin. This is owned by a India family. We could ot have been more diasappointed. STAY AWAY....

Great location. Numerous cigarette butts on ground outside office door. Cleaning up the cigarette butts all over the ground outside office door would have gone a long way in bettering the appearance.

This hotel was a bargain rate - I paid for 2 nights what I usually pay for one. So with that in mind, I didn't mind a few less than best features. For example: the breakfast is not that great. But one can always pick up something somewhere else. Also the hotel was dealing with a broken water pipe, so for a short time our room didn't have water. But they immediately gave us keys to another room and were very cooperative, helpful & apologetic, & the problem was quickly fixed. I travel frequently to St Louis on business (my own company, so I'm always trying to cut costs) & I've stayed in this hotel several times. It might not be the best if you're on vacation and want a great place to hang out. But for the evening and to sleep, it's a good choice.

the hotel don,t offer a lot to do and is kinda out of the way but is a good value for the price, we ask for the room to be close togather and we had ajoining rooms with walk through doors. this is a great value if you are just going to stay for one or two nights. The breakfest was ok the waffle needed a little more batter for a nice full waffle.

The manager was friendly. The place was rundown, I would consider the hotel a no star. I would not have this hotel on my list of places to stay.

After I checked in, I went to my room. However, my keys wouldn't work...It was a horrible rainy day and I didn't want ot walk to the office. So, I called on my cell phone and told them I could not get in. They said they would send someone right over - it took someone 25 minutes (me standing outside waiting). I got into the room - the smell was horrible, truly horrible..not just a smoke smell, it was horrible. The bedpread even had an odor. I noticed immediately that the microwave, fridge, coffee pot and a lamp would not work. Again, I called the desk - she said someone would be over. By the time they arrived, I had followed the wires to an extention cord where everything was unplugged. I told him I plugged it in and he nodded. About the room - there are burn marks all over the floor and everything in the room (and not just a few). The carpet was so badly stained, it was nasty. The furniture is falling apart, it's so old. The t.v. did not even work properly- and hardly any volume at all. There was an ice bucket with no lid. Pieces of the base board was off, with messed up wall beneath - it was just terrible. There was dust everywhere, even on fabric things. And trash under and in between furniture. I would not consider this entirely a housekeeping issue. This is clearly a place that no one cares about. I would never recommend it to anyone. Snd if you are going to, you should at least make them aware of conditions. Huge pot holes all over the lot. And the ac/heat unit wasn't working properly either.

Third Super 8 I stayed at during this vacation. The first two were great. This one was bad. There was a dead frog on the sidewalk in front of the motel office. It was not moved for 3 days and the same could be said for cigarette butts and soda bottles in the parking lot and sidewalks in front of the rooms. The door was coming apart. You had to slam it really hard to close it and to open it, you had to kick it on the bottom. The dust was so thick on the lamp stand you could write "wash me" which is what I did. The beds were passable. The breakfast was stale doughnuts, waffles, and 2 kinds of cereal.. The juice machine only worked part of the time. The pool had a bathtub ring around it with cigarette butts in the filter. It was also extremely cloudy. The housekeeper was very helpful; but she had just started and she evidently was not trained to clean stayovers first. We returned after a trip to the Science Center around 5 PM.

Although it's kind of hard to find the place, and it looks like it may not be in the best of neighborhoods, that may have been due to the fact that Super 8's usually don't have the best track record. It was a really nice room, we didn't have to walk more than 10 ft from car to door and not even 50 ft to the front desk. The room was very clean, and comfy. There was a very big bed and even a couch with a fold-out bed. Two bed-side stands/dressers, a nice t.v., a big desk, a nice bathroom area, although there was some hair in the bathtub. Overall, I would say we had a pleasant experience, and I would probably recommend it.

Big bed. Cold shower. The room was clean, nothing fancy. The staff was polite and helpful. The shower had no hot water.

Everyone that came to stay at the Super 8 for my friends wedding was disgusted and wanted to leave as soon as we opened the doors. One of the rooms we had, the lamp between the beds was hanging out of the wall...there was stains on the sheets. There was a dead spider in my sheets in my room. We had 2 towels for a room with 2 double beds??? I didnt even feel comfortable taking my shoes off...the air conditioner barely worked and we were there on a very hot day. If i wasnt with a group of people i would have left and asked for my money back...this place should be tore down, it would be more expensive to fix everything thats wrong.

Clean room reasonable cost. Not enough breakfast food. Basically, a nice motel and very clean.

The hotel had polite and friendly staff that weren't well trained or were just incompetent. The night desk receptionist tried three times to give us electronic keys that worked for our door but never could, so on the third walk back to the front office, the desk person just opened the door for us. We never got room keys so we couldn't leave the room with the door locked which was OK for just one night's stay. The room had a comfortable bed and a nice fridge and microwave but lacked proper supplies. We didn't have a second bath towel, there wasn't soap for the bath tub, there wasn't an extra roll of toilet paper, and the tv remote wasn't programmed to work. The breakfast in the morning was good with a hot waffle-iron and batter to make your own fresh waffle. If you have time to talk with the nice staff, this hotel was all right. If you're in a hurry, stay somewhere else.

There was a death in the family in St. Louis and we were looking for an inexpensive hotel in a central location in order to visit family and attend the funeral. There were several hotels in the area, but the Super 8 offered queen beds rather than doubles which interested us. The hotel room was very musty smelling upon arrival. We ended up purchasing a Febreze candle to burn when we were in the room. There were 3 of us which included our college age daughter, but we only had enough towels, pillows, etc for 2 people. When we asked for a coffee maker (which was supposed to be in each room) and requested 2 additional pillows, the staff made it seem like we were asking for the world. We placed the Do Not Disturn sign out and when we got back to our room, they had come in anyway and threw away our coffee cups, we had scrounged, took away the 2 pillows we had to beg for the previous night and also threw away our grandfather's obituary from the newspaper which we had setting on the bedside table. When I called about this, the staff didn't seem to care. We had to beg for 2 more pillows and they could only provide 1. The hotel is older and really needs to be spruced up. The beds were comfortable but we couldn't regulate the heat/cool setting and had to keep adjusting it in the room. I know you get what you pay for, but service is something that should be provided no matter how inexpensive or expensive a hotel is. We will not stay at this hotel again when we are back in St. Louis

I liked that it was inexpensive and that they changed our room to the bottom floor upon request. I disliked the stale musty odor of the room & the worn out, cigarette burned bedspread. This is a several decades old, two-story hotel in Fenton, MO which is rather difficult to find, even with a GPS unit. The registration desk and lobby, (which was decently finished and equipped for eating continental breakfasts or take-out), are located separately from the two wings which house the guest rooms. Unfortunately, upon entering our room we immediately noticed a stale musty odor, the worn out, cigarette burned bedspread, and the missing louvers on the heating/cooling unit. The carpet in the room had apparently been cleaned recently and was still damp, resulting in the musty, mildew smell. As it was Monday night, I attempted to watch the Monday night football game on ESPN, but was annoyed to discover that there was no sound on that one particular channel. Upon complaining to the office, which verified that their sound also didn't work on ESPN, I was informed that there was no way they could have the maintenance man correct the issue before the end of the game. Their other selections on the TV were few and of fairly poor quality picture, with the exception of Show time, so we watched a movie. I'd like to be able to say that we got what we paid for during this hotel stay, but I'd honestly have to say that we were overcharged by at least $10, based on the issues already mentioned.

Did not like that the ice and soda machine was in the lobby. Should be some closer to the rooms. If you are not wanting anything fancy then this is the hotel for you. Says it is remodeled. I think the only thing they did to remodel it is put in new furniture in the lobby. I won't say I hated it but I won't be staying there again.

The hotel was in an easy to find location which was a good thing. The rooms were clean and there were no foul odors that you would expect staying at such a cheap hotel. Although the rooms are a little dated its a great stay for the money. I probably will stay here again the next time I'm in the area.

It had a swimming pool. The pool was dirty, no one was at the desk, and the breakfast was awful. The rooms were small and dark, the AC didn't work very well, and the pool was dirty. The continental breakfast consisted of bagels without cream cheese, cereal without milk, and Danishes. The attendant was not there for checkout and my husband waited for 20 minutes until he just threw the key card on the desk and we left.
