My husband and I have stayed at several Hotel/Motels and we seem to find that the Super 8 Motels are cleaner, and the staff members are more friendly. It will be Super 8 from now on. I liked how they have the bathrooms set out and a place with a table and two chairs to set down with your laptop. The beds are very comforable.

Great continental breakfast. Constant highway noise because of location. Very comfortable beds - Helped you forget about all the Highway Hum. Located right next to the Highway.

I read reviews (as I always do) before reserving a hotel. When I arrived I was surprised at the high ratings this hotel received. Hotel is somewhat dated and not worth the price. Staff was curteous but my room (#375) smelled like urine, there were (huge) stains on the mini couch, and a very noticealbe hole that looked like the ceiling was dropping. In addition the floors had huge stains througout the entire room that was very visable when you first walk in the room. Considering the convenient location in conjuncion with the Casino I would think that this hotel would offer much better rooms to attract potential customers. My suggestion, for the money, stay somewhere that has made updates in the last 20 years and avoid this place.

THe hotel was kind of hard to find. We had to travel behind a gas station, and pass the first hotel to find the entrance. I found this hotel to be extremely dirty. There was mold and mildew on the windows which caused allergic symptoms for my husband. An employee walked off the job, so there was no room service at all. I had to beg for clean towels. How can an employee walk off the job in the morning, leave her cart in the hall, and the management not notice? We used the fire entrance because the elevators were so slow and unreliable and the fire doors were open all of the time. The free breakfast was in a very small area with insufficient seating. When we were checking in, the employee took two reservations from telephone callers while a line of eight people formed! Several potential customers walked out. I never expected a four star hotel, but I did expect it to be cleaner. The truck stop located across the street resulted in increased NOISE from trucks on the exit ramp. This lasted day and night.

Convenient; clean, good staff, good breakfast, elevator. Reception area very small when a number of people are checking in at the same time.

Purpose of trip was to go to Presque Isle casino, shuttle service was great and the driver was very helpful. Bananas were only fruit in breakfast area but girl also kept the breakfast very clean. Water was very hot in bathroom, should have had some warning about it and tub needed strips so wasn't so slippery. Pool not too convenient but was okay. Would go back.l

It was close to Presque Isle Downns and Casino. The management charged a $50.00 "security charge"on my debit card and then removed it at checkout. This hotel is good for people like us who like to gamble at casinos.

THE FRONT DESK CLERK WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND EFFICIENT. CHECK IN TOOK ABOUT ONE TO TWO MINUTES.THE CHECK OUT TIME WAS ALITTLE LONGER,BUT THEN THE PHONE WAS RINGING OFF THE HOOK AND THERE WAS ANOTHER PARTY BEING WAITED ON AT THE SAME TIME. WHEN WE NEEDED EXTRA TOWELS THE STAFF BROUGHT THEM UP WITHIN HALF AN HOUR. wE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH OUR STAY.

This is an older property in a less than premium location. The surroundings are a sea of asphalt ? landscaping is minimal ? the exterior d?cor is an inexpensive]rebuild and paint. Public spaces are minimal carved out of the first floor. The d?cor is decidedly down scale and the furniture fixtures and equipment all show wear and tear. Check in was quick and efficient at 11 PM when we arrived. I gave the clerk my name and she handed me the pre-prepared key card without delay. The room we had was quite large by today?s standard. Renovated 10 years Ago. While generally clean everything was worn and could use updating or replacement.. The A/C system was effective but the simplest system. We were unable to run the fan continuously while the A/C was on. The room seems to be OK in terms of sound shielding. We could hear the highway a couple of hundred yards away but it was not bad ? if we could have run the A/C fan it would not have been audible. In the morning I did not take a shower as it seemed there was no hot water. I let it run for a few minutes but it never warmed up. The continental breakfast that was available was OK. Cold cereal, juice, toast and small pastries, some fruit ? and of course coffee and tea. Minimal. All in all as an economy property it was an OK value. Certainly not 4 stars. But it served us fine for a quick overnight stop - except for the shower.

The staff was friendly. Waited too long for hot water. Again, for the price the hotel sufficed my expectations.

This property was rated 4 stars when we booked it. 4 stars is a big reach. This is an older property in a less than premium location. The staff was incredible helping us find places. Not all electrical outlets worked in our room. I had a wonderful time during my stay. Enjoyed the staff, breakfast and cleanliness of our room. I will be coming back for more and referring others as well.

Went for a long weekend. The staff were friendly and service was great. The last night we were there the hotel informed us that the water was going to be shut off the next morning due to renovations and they offered us either the room at half rate or move next door. We chose to stay and take the half price. We are going back the next long weekend in August. It is great value for your money, close to casino and shopping as well as a great state park and beach. Would highly recommmend to anyone. Share the pool with the sister hotel which was not a problem. Everything was clean. They are starting to renovate the hotel, and was told it is going to be beautiful, can't wait.

It was close to the attractions we wish to visit and for what we required. Nothing. This hotel met the needs of our family. It was affordable and close to the shopping. We didn't use the hotel for relaxing, but more as a place to sleep. Despite that it had a great pool our family used. Great time.

"Room was clean, bed comfortable, large TVw/cable, hbo. Friendly service. complementary snacks (crackers/fruit). Free breakfast was danish, muffins or bagels, bread and English muffins with obtional condiments also toaster and microwave available. I was traveling with a toddler and there was plenty of room in the 2 double bedroom for all his stuff and ours. It's not full of luxuries but it has the basics. It's priced accordingly. I would gladly stay again and most likely will. Recommend the Erie Zoo. Very nice (even lots of shaddy places) for the price even free parking."

The hotel was clean and family friendly. The hotel room needed updated and painted. The hotel is a good compared to other hotels in the area.

"How does Erie, PA demand and get such extravagant prices on basic rooms? The pool is inconveniently located in the hotel next door and towels seemed to be at a premium. The room was pleasant and clean with a view. Breakfast was basic (no fruit) coffee and danish. No complaints otherwise."

This hotel is conveniently located with comfortable room, nice breakfast and price. The location is unattractive. This hotel is very close to I-90 and easy to locate. The rooms were comfortable and attractive. The small breakfast buffet was adequate and the staff was attentive. The price was good; for travelers needing a place to spend the night, it is a good.

The Continental Breakfast was very good. Everything being in one section. It was clean and the workers were friendly.
