Staff was very helpful. Tub needed to be cleaned, looked black, doors kept slamming(very loud.) The hotel needs some updating. Better windows to keep out the sound. Do some work on the doors to keep them from slamming. I don't know if the linen was changed but it was late and the lighting wasn't that great. Linen didn't have that crisp feel. Tub needed some major cleaning. Looked like it hadn't been cleaned in some time. Breakfast didn't look very appetizing. I ended up going to the truck stop. (Don't go there.)

We were traveling to Ellensburg for a karate tournament over the weekend. We have stayed at this hotel before when traveling for similar reasons. The rooms are accommodating and clean, the beds were a little springy but comfortable enough. It's fairly quiet and right near the main road. There are plenty of fast food places within walking distance (Wendy's is right next door, Taco Bell isn't far, either.) The travel agency's price was affordable and we got the travel website discount. We will stay here again.

Convenience. Room a bit shabby. There are several hotels in the immediate area that are equally convenient to the freeway, etc. Next time I go to Ellensburg I will try another one. However, with smoking rooms disappearing rapidly I would take a shabby room just to be able to smoke.

This was the quietest stay I've had at a hotel in years. In three nights I never heard someone else's shower running, or slamming doors, or footsteps in the hall. No microwave or fridge - but you get what you pay for.

Nice pool area and decent breakfast area.

The first non-smoking room was a bit smoky, but the front desk staffer was incredibly kind and moved us to the non-smoking wing promptly. Great night's sleep, great breakfast and the best priced hotel in town for your money. Will definitely stay there again!

Quiet. Hall and steps were dirty. Even smokeless rooms smelled smoky.

I was traveling for my CWU orientation and spent the night. My parents had provided a credit card when they made the reservation in my name, then provided phone confirmation , faxed a copy of the credit card and my mother's drivers licence and they STILL were unable to authorize my stay- they called the police and evicted me at 12:45 AM!! On a concert night when the hotels in town were quite full. Stay anywhere else in town but here!!!
Date of Stay:
August, 2008
Nothing. Dirty, understaffed, low on amenities. This hotel was not pleasant. It was dirty and the staff was not friendly or helpful. The hotel smelled bad and the room was not very clean. The breakfast was stale. The air conditioner did not work.

July, 2007
My stay in this hotel left me eaten up by fleas which the management didn't feel was a problem. The rooms are extremely smelly and unclean, paper thin walls allow ALL conversations to be heard and cigarette butts littered the hallways. There is also no elevator so be prepared to carry your luggage up stairs. You should pass on staying at this place!
Date of Stay:

Clean, inexpensive, friendly and safe place to spend the night. No tourist information (pamphlets, maps, etc) in lobby. An inexpensive, but clean, safe, friendly and convenient place to spend the night. 24 hour desk, Cable TV, free WiFi connection and indoor pool.

"The staff was friendly and the management bent over backwards to make sure my stay was perfect. The room was not spotless, but it was an older room. Management advised me they would be updating rooms soon and that they would be adding more to their continental breakfast offerings. The cleaning crew staff did their job great and kept my room clean. No garbage bags in the trash cans but that is because they clean the cans daily, completely. I was impressed. The price I paid for the room was much less then I expected for the service I received."

The pool & spa. Continental breakfast. The hotel in general was good. However their continental breakfast did not have a very good selection of things. I think of eggs, bacon or sausage, fresh fruit etc. not hard bagels, 3 choices of cereal and too sweet pastries. They need to think what if one of our guests is allergic to what we have or a diabetic. That is why we checked out early & went to a restaurant.

"We went to Ellensburg for a baseball tournament and couldn't stay with the rest of the team because we had our pet. Super 8 was fine for our needs. The staff was super friendly and the room was adequate and quiet. For the money, it was one of the best places I've stayed with various teams this summer."

Convenience. Re-roofing the motel. It was okay. The continental breakfast was adequate.

"Great hotel for the price. It's super basic - bed, bath, tv - but that's all we needed. It was comfortable and practical."
Date of Stay:

Location, fresh coffee & creamer in lobby, room was clean. Staff behind counter appeared 'cage like' - no personal interaction. Breakfast on Sunday was put away at 9:00 a.m., should have stayed out longer and they should have mentioned the time when checking in. The check-in counter in the lobby was blocking any feel of personal interaction. Felt as though the staff was removed from the customer (cage like) just a small window to interact in. Majority of the towels were discolored and the blankets on the bed were majority old & palled!

Close to eating establishments.. Noise of trains going by. Air conditioner did not work. Street noise load. Air conditioner did not work.
Date of Stay:

Lots of parking. Very noisy, the walls were too thin, not very clean. This room was very bare bones. No coffee, no hair dryer, tiny towels etc... It would have been worth a couple more bucks to not have to hear the neighbors or the lady screaming in the stairwell.
