We went over the 4th of July weekend and had a blast. Went shopping in East Dubuque, went to the casino and saw fireworks. Next day went into Galena to shop, eat and watched the parade. There was nothing missing and this trip was the most enjoing trip we have had in many years.

Location. Hard mattress. It suited our needs. Location was good; many restaurants and shopping in the area. The room was clean and the hotel staff was friendly.

Stayed for two nights. Wasn't expecting much, given the price. That was ok with me, as I was on a budget. Great location for what I wanted. 2.5 miles to the Diamond Jo Casino in one direction, and less than that in the other direction to the local mall. Room was adequate for one person. Appeared clean at first glance, but soon I noticed the coffee machine still had coffee in it, and on the second day it was apparent they did not clean the bathroom sink as I had shaved earlier in the day and the stubble was still present. Back security door did not lock, which is a major problem in my book. Front staff was extremely friendly. Breakfast was disappointing. Cereal, bagels, and one day biscuits and gravy without the biscuits. Also, the OJ was functioning both days, but something was wrong as it dispensed clear fluid at times. Was told they had just changed it. Same problem on the second day. Overall if money and location are two big factors, it was adequate. Just don't expect much. I would stay again if I was traveling alone.

We wanted something close to my husband's daughter's wedding and chose the Super 8 for it's moderate pricing.

Staff was courteous. The bottom sheets did not fit the bed. They always came undone in the night. Staff friendly. Room OK for the price, quite, sheets too small for the bed, fitted sheets would have been better. Water did not drain out of the bathroom sink, reported it, each day, but nothing was done. Back out side door did not lock, also reported each day.

Centerly located, staff was very nice, it was the room that was the problem. We had 3 adults in room and they left us only 1 wash rag and 3 towels, had to ask for more. Also asked for extra pillows, we were told that they only had one extra pillow in the place. The next day after returning from a day out, the room was not cleaned. The coffee pot still had coffee in it, the garbage was not dumped, the blankets were just tossed up on the bed and not really made right. Not really sure would stay here again, even for the price.

we liked the staff, very friendly, helped me with my local travel planning. Clean and comfortable room. The breakfast area was packed with people so we didn't get change to eat the breakfast, but overall very nice.

Close to friends house we were visiting. Probably could not sleep in the beds more than one night. Nice but bed was kind ofhard to sleep on. Good thing I brought my own pillow too.

Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, We were able to get in a bit early.

The staff straightened my room daily and left clean towels. I didn't like the traffic noise, so turning on the heat/air helped drown that out. I just needed a place to crash for 8 hours and shower. Most of my time was spent at family events, so I wasn't in much need of luxury. I would only change the mattresses, they are a bit firm for my personal taste. The room was straightened up and beds made up for us daily.

Good budget accommodations for an overnight stay convenient to downtown. Insufficient seating for continental breakfast. I booked this hotel through Priceline in order to have a place to crash after my band played at a wedding reception. It was pretty much ideal for that specific purpose - inexpensive, but clean and reasonably comfortable. The clerk who checked us in was very friendly. The Mexican restaurant next door is quite good.

Location, improved from last stay. Uncomfortable bed, much adjacent room noise. Fills the bill as a place to stay. Nothing fancy, housekeeping wasterrible when extended check-out time was miscommunicated.
