I (we) thoroughly enjoyed every facet about this motel; especially the setting. There was nothing that we disliked about this motel. This was the best Super 8 that we've stayed in. The staff was outstanding, the room was clean and comfortable, the small casino was nice, and the breakfasts were great. The motel makes donuts and Carmel rolls; the rolls were the best we've ever eaten. I think the staff should be recognized for their efforts to see that their guests have a pleasant stay.

The Super 8 Motel is by far the best value for the money in Deadwood. The hotel is always clean. They have a pool and a hot tub. They also have a casino in the hotel. It's a great place to stay if you have children because the pool gives them something to do while you are entertaining yourself in the casino. Drinks are free when you are gambling.The staff of the hotel is very welcoming and friendly. They remember guests from previous stays. It is the best place to stay in Deadwood. We intend to visit Deadwood again while staying at the Super 8.

Good location great casino free breakfast with pretty good selections comfortable bed and pillows. Very little room to walk between bed andTV stand. Liked it, had read on line that the pillows were uncomfortable so we bought our own from home, wanted to leave mine there and bring their's home.

The Deadwood Super 8 has a great pool, a hot tub, a casino and a ok dining (pick up window). The breakfast was AWESOME! They had cinnamon rolls and eggs..which is much better than any other continental breakfast I usually get. The rooms are fine and the location isn't bad as you will need to drive into Deadwood or take the 1.00 trolley. Check in was good as the lady spent time talking to me about Deadwood. All in all, for the money very satisfied!

There were no rooms which did not require going up or down stairs. Alright for an overnight stay, but would not want to stay very long, unless I was a gambler. Breakfast was very plain. All breads, no fresh fruit or the like. Did have a very nice salad in the evening on arrival.

I really liked the location. The view was great. I was very impressed with the staff; very friendly and the room was perfect in every way. I plan on vacationing in South Dakota again and I would stay at the Super 8 in Deadwood again.

All the employees were great, the fresh sweet rolls were awesome. Further from the main area than I expected. Nice clean rooms, friendly staff. We would have stayed two more nights if the snowstorm hadn't moved in. Oh! it was wonderful that they posted weather reports each day!

The hotel was nice and clean and in a very good location for peace and quiet. I did find the room nice and clean but very small. The restaurant did not serve any good meals other than pizza or hamburgers. Otherwise it was nice.

Location and staff were exceptional! Beds and pillows were like rocks - hot tub stunk on days 2 & 3. Loved the trolley to downtown - exceptional location for snowmobiling as it is located at top of trail 7. Exceptionally helpful staff and food was much better than expected. Wish I would have brought pillows from home and the beds were hard but otherwise perfect hotel - GREAT PRICE!

Very Friendly staff that remembers it's customers from year to year. Our room smelt of stale smoke and was unbearable until we got used to it. We have stayed at this hotel for five years now and have been happy with the hotel every time. The casino is very convenient along with their little restaurant that serves pizza and burgers. They have a hot tub and pool that are always clean and warm along with clean bathrooms that are located in the pool area. The staff is very friendly and answers any questions we may have. A lovely stream flows behind the hotel with a lovely deck that we sit at for breakfast and at the end of the day to unwind. Very relaxing. Perfect hotel for the family or for a couple getaway, as was our visit. Only one complaint was our room had an awful stale smoke odor in it (smoking room was the only thing available) and the bathroom was not cleaned well hair was left from the previous guest. Otherwise very pleased with our visit as always.

Clean. Needs better pillows. Nice, clean hotel. Good pool and hot tub. When the terrace is finished, there will be a nice view of the creek from the back. I would definitely stay there again.

It was the normal super 8. The water pipes in room 209 rattle the walls. That needs to be fixed. People were friendly and the stay was nice.

The staff was awesome! Very pleasant. The restaurant was only open until 11. (Midnight eater!). I was so impressed. Not only were the rooms stylish, the beds and pillows smelled fresh and we really comfortable. The landscape was beautiful and the building in superior condition. I absolutely have nothing bad to say. Nice pool area and casino. The staff was exceptionally polite and I never saw a frown. It was easy to find but not too close to the Casino Strip. The only thing that wasn't extravagant was the price. I loved it.
