Was in a very convenient location, just off the interstate. We stayed on 2 occasions--the first visit was in a smoking room, because I didn't have preference--that was big mistake. That room stunk bad with smoke odor. It definitely could have used an air freshener. Room was still very clean, but small. The next visit had us in non-smoking and for some reason, they gave us handicapped room, which was much more spacious--also very clean and beds were comfy. Breakfast area was clean and food okay--not great, but enough to get you going in the morning. Did not like the coffee maker in the room though--makes only 1 cup at a time and you can only use the pod that comes with it. I usually bring my own coffee and filters to make coffee in room, but I can't there. The town of Cuba has small-town charm--Found Frisco's Grill and Bar about a mile away--food and atmosphere were great! Great place to stay and if I get the opportunity again, we will revisit.

The Super 8 Motel in Cuba, Mo. was a general disappointment. The doors all had an antiquiet feature that allowed them to slam so loud that you would know when your neighbors were leaving, or arriving, or going out and in unpacking the car at 2 AM. It was nice that there was a microwave and a fridge, they were a nice consolation for a complete lack of a good nights sleep, as were the cookie, juice and popcorn in the lobby, and breakfast the next morning. The room has a safe, which seemed nice until I considered what that should tell me about the trust that the owner's place in their staff. Incidently, the safe costs a dollar a night, a charge that is included in the room charge, it is waved if you call them on it, but you won't know that unless you read the label on the safe. There are a variety of franchise food options nearby, no great places, but ok fare for the road. The water was hot and wet, and the towels and linnens were clean, even if the room wasn't. Super 8, the Pineapple People, ought to invest in soundproofing and comforable mattresses if they are really trying to develop an image of hospitality.

Very friendly and helpful staff very impressed! Nothing I can think of. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had to call twice to tell them that we were running late. When we finally got there they got us checked in and in our room very quickly. The room was clean and comfortable.

Location, value, staff. Complimentary breakfast. But hey, it was free so I'm not complaining. Great value. Right next to a drive-in movie. Great for the weary traveler or someone looking to stop over for a couple days in the area. Close to many natural attractions. Friendly staff and comfortable rooms.

This hotel was clean and did not have a lot of wear and tear. The general upkeep seemed good. This hotel did not have iron/ironing board in the room but they were available @ the front desk. This hotel is a very good short stay hotel. It does not have the amenities for a long stay but it is clean and the staff are helpful. The upkeep of the hotel seems to be very good.

Biscuits & gravy in the morning. Not enough towels. Very friendly, I forgot my reservation printout and she had my info & room key right there ready for check-in.
