I have stayed in a number of hotels and this was, by FAR, the absolute worst. I had to buy bathroom cleaner and Lysol to clean the bathroom before use. Yellow streaks down side of toilet, oily ring in tub, green soap slime in the shower and on towel bar, and mold on shower curtain. Toilet seat speckled with black dots and peeling finish. Tile floor had hair all over. Bedroom carpet stained, wallpaper peeling. Bedding was worse- blood stains on comforter and yellow spots on sheets. Beyond disgusting. Air conditioner smelled strongly of mold when turned on. Too horrible to use. I sweltered all night, didn't want to inhale those spores.Hotel hallway smelled nasty, and the elevator floor left a sticky residue on the bottom of my shoe. It looked to have not been cleaned in many, many years. Crud was so thick that it would require lye and a putty knife. Also noticed there wasn't any elevator inspection sticker to be found. Scary. I would sleep in my car before I would ever sleep in this horrific hotel again. They should be ashamed to even charge people to stay there. Price and location are not worth the health risk of staying here again.

Security on exterior doors and location. Rooms were rather old and dated. I enjoyed my short stay there and will stay there again.

Absolutely the worst hotel I have ever seen. The rooms were barely acceptable. The common areas, such as hallway were an abomination. Popcorn and other food stuffs littered the floors. Lighting was poor. The elevator was a cracker box. The main entrance door was so filthy that I hated to touch it. Ten guys with chlorox scrubbers may be able to clean the place in a month. I still would not stay there again.

Location. Water leaks everywhere, no pool and horrible beds. Aside from the water leaks everywhere and a pool half full of green slime and pool chairs, I got over the odor of decay and the concrete beds in order to enjoy the location and contemplate the price of my next chiropractic visit!

the hotel was ok, my wife was unhappy with the cleanliness of the room but for the price it was ok. right on th main drag quick access to food and attractions

Friendly man at checkin. No 3 prong plugs for computer hookup. On for a single guy traveling alone with no expection.

Our room was very clean and neat. The price was great. Across the street is a shopping plaza with a bookstore, electronics store, pharmacy, convienence store/gas station and a grocery store for any incidentals you may need. We only had about a 5 minute drive to Colonial Williamsburg attractions and major dining chains. The front desk staff was nice. The pool is very small but clean. The only complaint we really had about our experience is the bed was in need of replacing. It was hard (not firm) and caused us to toss and turn quite a bit. But overall would definitely stay there again.

Staff was very helpful. Filthy bathroom and floors in room - disgusting. 2 day or less stay ok for the $$; filthy bathroom and floors; bring cleaners. Price is good for the quality level; breakfast not served till 7am and was too late for our needs. Staff was very friendly and helpful; they try, just need to clean up! Great location to Colonial Williamsburg.

Housekeeping needs improvement. Quite noisy both outside and inside.

I did not like anything! I did not like my overall experience with the hotel. I did not stay in the room. I went to the room and immediately checked out.

The entrance to the motel and parking lot was dirty and messy. Overall the facility needed maintanence attention.

Location. The smell in the room. The staff are nice. Location great. I will go back & hotel gave map of area that was.

Inexpensive, location, and cleanliness. Hard beds. The hotel is great for the money. The only complaints I would have is that the beds are quite stiff. Far from the worst bed I've ever slept on though.

Could be friendlier, get new carpet. And it wasn't far from the attractions. Overall I would stay again.

The location was downtown. Hotel was old and needed updating. Hotel was fair for the price. The staff was nice and helpful.

Friendly check-in. Worn lobby area and halls. Is at most a one star hotel.

Quiet. Elevator didn't work one morning, Carpet needs cleaning.

The room was clean and smoke-free. The hotel is run-down and somewhat creepy. This hotel is in desperate need of renovation. The interior seems to be slowly falling apart and there appears to be no interest in making it looks nicer. The hallways and lobby are smelly and depressing. The only good part of the place was our room, which was clean and, although not luxurious, good enough. However, the 1" crack under the front door let in every noise from the hallway - a reminder of where we were.

The staff was "over the top" accommodating for my circumstances. Ice machine on 2nd floor not working and full of mold, and fridge in my room not working and smelly. Obviously an old building, much in need of updating. Thank heavens, I like a firm mattress because they are as hard as other reviewers have mentioned. However, the staff were so accommodating, allowing me to check in early, and stay late on check out day so that I could get some sleep (I was working nights in the area), that it made up for any of the small inconveniences I encountered.

The pool was very nice. The beds are terrible. I have slept better on the floor. They are hard and uncomfortable! The hotel was ok. Not exactly as I expected. They need a renovation and new beds ASAP. It was clean enough and I didn't see any bugs (which would have killed it for me). The pool was very clean and inviting. Housekeeping did clean daily (although the tub could use a bit of work) and the room looked good. However, the hallway smelled old and musty as did the elevator which is kind of, well, dilapidated. The people were nice.
