The hotel made previous smoking rooms into non-smoking rooms and the furniture, bedspreads and carpet stink like stale cigarettes. My clothes IN MY SUITCASE smelled like smoke the next day. I will not stay there again.

Convenient. Stairwell reeked of smoke. My room was good.

Hotel has poor response to customer needs / complaints. It was relatively clean but had a smell throughout the hotel. I have stayed at much nicer Super 8 Hotel than this one and will not stay here again or recommend it to anyone else. It has a good location but there are other chains that are cleaner and just as reasonably priced than this location. My vehicle was damaged in their parking lot and I was quickly advised they assume no liability.

We had read that the breakfast was not very good - we ended up going to the Blue Baker for breakfast in stead. The room was clean and comfortable. Very busy weekend - Parent's weekend at A&M.

Close to campus. Old hotel Room was very basic. Hotel looks OK from outside but inside (carpet, walls, elevators) look quite old.
Date of Stay:

The idea that this was a non-smoking room was a complete joke. More than likely an old smoking room simply had a "No Smoking" sign placed on the door just prior to our arrival. Stepping off the elevator was like walking into a stale ashtray. The room and whole floor smelled like old cigarette smoke. Made the whole place feel dirty. We chose the place based on price and other reviews.

The hotel was fine, room ok ,cleaned daily, safe area. Just offer a clean room and forget the sad breakfast..

Close to the college campus. It was noisy. Not a bad place, but the room was small and the floors in the bathroom were sticky.

The front desk staff was wonderful! . The room was clean and the breakfast was good for our family. You can't beat the location for A&M. We will definitely stay there again!

The room just had a dirty feeling to it. The bathroom was somewhat small and the lounge chair in the room was broken. Next time we are in College Station, we will not be staying here.

Wireless internet was easy to set up, nice accomodation. Overall decor seemed a bit old.

"I probably would not stay here again. Looks good on the outside, but the rooms need updating. The bathroom was clean, but not ""inviting"" to bathe in."
Date of Stay:
August, 2008
Nothing in particular special about this hotel, but it is cheap, and it works. No bugs, which is a huge plus in College Station. If all you're looking for is a place to sleep with no bugs, this is as good and cheap and any.

It was in a good location and they had nice pillows. Hallways were dirty and smelled. The room was pretty clean, however, the hallways were dirty and smelled. One of our towels were dirty still and our air conditioner over heated during the night and set off the smoke alarm. The beds were okay though, and the pillows were nice. The front desk guy was nice and helpful. We might not stay here again, but it wouldn't be out of the question.

"I was very hesitant, but pleasantly surprised. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. The rooms were a lot better than I expected, but could have used a little more cleaning of the carpets. I would stay there again."

This hotel is very convinent to TX A&M campus and lots of restaurants.
Date of Stay:

Comfortable beds. Shower difficult to adjust. Nothing fancy but a good value for the money. Great location - close to university.
Date of Stay:
January, 2008
All in all a fine place to stay. The staff was very friendly, check-in was swift. Room was fair, the bed comfortable. No ironing board or iron in the room though. I would stay there again if needed.
Date of Stay:
November, 2007
Easy in easy out, convenient location. Blanket was skimpy, just barely warm enough. Pretty basic, but better than Days inn.
Date of Stay:
September, 2007
The Super 8 at College Station was an OK place to stay. There is no dining and no pool but I did not expect that anyway. I would simply rate it as a place to sleep and then move on. It did appear clean but did not appear to have a very large number of rooms filled. If I was traveling on business it would not be my selection but it served the purpose as a stop on the way to a hunting trip.
