Everyone here at Super 8 was so wonderful and very accomodating. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and handled my requests for laundry and first floor access beautifully! I will be staying with them again if ever back in Champaign, IL.

It had a room available. Threadbare sheets and towels, broken toilet, dirty carpet, rude staff. There are never enough hotel rooms in Champaign-Urbana, so the hotels are able to charge a fortune for their rooms. It's shameful that this hotel owner doesn't put any of those exorbitant fees back in to the hotel. The staff was rude, the sheets and towels threadbare, the toilet leaked and the carpet was dirty. They had a continental breakfast, but the owner asked us not to use the toaster because it would trip the circuit breaker. I don't recommend this hotel.

Bathtub was full of mildew, towels like sandpaper, threadbare sheets, dirty air conditioner control panel (handle to cover fell off). My daughter made me check the bed to make sure there were no bugs there.

I've found the quality of Super 8's to be widely variant. This location was easily the poorest I've stayed in- holes in linnens, tattered blankets, crushed light fixtures, gaping holes in carpeting, telephones with all their wires exposed. I will certainly make other arrangements on my next visit to Champaign.

Location. Ants. University function and the room were not clean, and there were ants in the bathroom and room.

The location of the hotel in relation to U of I and shopping was great. However, the room left alot to be desired. I was given a smoking room, which I didn't even think existed anymore. The odor was needless to say overpowering. I called the desk and was told no other room was available. Since it was Dad's weekend at U of I no hotel had openings. I was stuck. Upon trying to lock the door that night, I discovered the jam plate for the lock was missing, the secondary flip lock was missing also. The only thing securing the door was hole in the door frame. A call to the desk and I was told they were sorry but nothing could be done. I told the day clerk about the door (expecting it to be fixed) and went to the day's events. I returned eight hours later. The lock still not fixed, the room still as I left it. That was it. I checked out early and was given a very small refund for the second night that was booked.

Friendly service. The walls were so thin that I could hear everything that was said in the adjacent room. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It is dire need of being refurbished. The furniture is very old and scratched up. The walls were paper thin; I could hear everything that was said in the next room. My room was clean but for what I was paying I expected a great deal more. The lobby area was also much worn. I had reserved a room for three nights but left after one. I stayed the other nights in a more expensive hotel but it represented so much more value for the money. I would never go back there. The pictures on the web site do not represent reality.

I paid about */night for a week's stay at this Super8; one of the cheaper places in town with net access and continental breakfast. My 19-year-old niece observed that the room was "jankety" -- i.e., not the best quality. Toilet flusher was a bit slow, electricity sometimes flashed on and off (never out for more than a second at a time), the metal cover on the A/C controls was sitting on the windowsill (making it hard to know which way to turn the knobs), and the wireless access was unstable (1-3 minute gaps in any given online session). Staff were very courteous and helpful. Cleaning crew did a great job, and worked around my various piles of gear and papers. Adequate continental breakfast (basic coffee, juice, muffins, toast and unripe fruit) and they have a nice little sunroom to sit in while you eat -- but Bob Evans is right across the street if you need a real breakfast. Easy access to busses to get downtown.

It is close to restaurants and the mall. Door was broken, mold in shower, renovation supplies stored in my room. This hotel is close to shopping, restaurants, and is only a block away from I-74. It needs serious updating and a good, thorough cleaning. My bathroom had granite tiles in the shower but the grout was worn and mold was growing. The door to my room didn't close on its own; it had to be forced shut. They were storing cardboard boxes of I'm not sure what in the room. The furniture was oddly arranged and some it shoved in a corner. But when that is all you can find what can you do? Rating this hotel a 1 is too high!

Arrived late, dude unfortunately referred me to some nasty grease-food joint, changed rooms because 1st was too loud; 2nd had lousy TV. Other than that, fine establishment.

The staff was very friendly. The breakfast area was very messy and unclean. This hotel was ok for the price and considering most of the hotels in the area were booked. Good for very budget conscious travelers.

My wife was pleasantly surprised by the Super 8. She was worried that since it was so inexpensive, it wouldn't be safe or comfortable. The room was clean, the bathroom had been updated recently. The bed was comfortable. Best of all, the hotel has free wireless internet. You really can't beat it for the price.

The staff was very helpful and kind. It's alittle old. Although it is an older hotel, they are upgrading the bathrooms with granite slab counters and showers. It has a very nice effect. The heater thermostats worked, the beds were clean and fairly comfortable. The pillows left something to be desired. They let me use their computer to check-in for my flight. I'd go back.

Good location, restaurant across the street, very quiet. Looks "well worn". Needs a little remodeling. Not a lot in the way of amenities, but provides the basics if you just need a room for the night. It was the quietest hotel/motel I've stayed at in many years. Staff was courteous and efficient. Everything was clean and in working order, but it looked like I felt when I arrived - old and tired.

Check-in ,check-out was fine, direction to university were very good . The room smell of smoke, but I open the window . The location of the hotel is in a great spot, across from the mall, the university not far from the hotel, the movies, wal mart great location, my daughter going back for homecoming , but we can't find a room.

Excellent value for the price. Tacky decor; less-than-friendly staff. Given the very low price, this motel exceeded my expectations. The accommodations were clean, well-kept, and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.
