The Super 8 in Edinburg is an excellent value for the money. The manager is a very nice guy, and is very accommodating. Overall the hotel is in very nice shape, having had some major renovations. If you are traveling along the interstate and are looking for a place to stop, this should be the place to stop. It has excellent access to the interstate, it is next to a gas station so you won't have to go far to fill up, and restaurants are very nearby. As for amenities, it has a pool, hot tub, and free high-speed wireless internet. It also has plenty of free cable channels, and the rooms are very well maintained. I am relocating to the McAllen area, so this hotel was a nice place to stay while I was surveying the area. It is an excellent value and you will not be disappointed.

The location was close to were I needed to be, but I never stayed there. I tried to check in, but found the desk clerk very dismissive and would not help me so I stayed at another hotel. Poor service!!!

I just need to have a reliable internet connection and this hotel offerred higher internet connection speed then i expected. Will definatly stay here again.

I work in the oilfield and my company pays for my room. I could stay anywhere but i enjoy the friendly service and nice rooms here A+++++

I could not say enough about the room..it was clean, large, A/C, Micro, fridge worked great. GREAT VALUE!! Although there was road construction in front of the hotel, it was still easy in & easy out. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and my reservation was exactly as requested. Easy check in & easy check out. My only suggestion would be purchase new towels as the ones I had were stained and a bit thin. This is my only complaint - I had a very restful, quiet evening. WILL DEFINITELY STAY AGAIN!!

The room was about 90 degrees when we entered, b/c they won't turn on the AC until check-in. When you get in late and just want to sleep, this is difficult as the inefficient AC unit takes over 3 hours to actually kick in. I was afraid to touch the blanket and bedspread as it was stained and looked dirty. Sheets should be white, not off-white w/black stains all over them. We could not use the table and chairs as there was some type of icky white substance - not even going to guess what it might have been. Even with the AC on, the bathroom was extremely hot as it had no AC vents. The tv worked sporadically, flickering until you smacked it on the top. Overall, if you are staying in the Edinburg area, there are plenty of inexpensive, clean, nice hotels. This isn't worth the money.

Great room under 50 bucks. Rooms are very clean and and impressed with hi speed internet connection. Downloaded a very large video file in minutes.
