The male receptionist was wonderful on the telephone and upon our arrival. It was a very nice experience to stay there without any hassles. Actually, we stayed an extra day without any problems.

The complimentary breakfast was actually a breakfast. Shower was rather small. It met my expectations andI would stay there again.

We stayed one night at this motel during a very trying time. An ice strom had hit our community and we had to leave our home to find heat due to power outages . We couldn't get the invoice on how much our card was charged and called about it when phone lines were restored. When the general manager was questioned about the bill he got very angry and cursed us. My daughter was on the phone with him and he called her bad names and we could have spent the night in the car and froze. I can't use the language here that he spewed over the phone but it was appalling. He made a threat to my daughter telling her to come to the motel and he would be waiting for her. We were stunned. This is a true report and the complaint was reported to Super8. His excuse was that he was stressed having to deal with the motel and people during this ice storm. Never once was one rude word used when we called. My daughter just asked a question about her bill and he went off. She didn't have have a chance to say another word. Never again will we, our freinds, our family, our church recommend this motel or spend another dime there. This rating is for Management. The other employees were much more professional and friendly than their management.

The best bang for your buck. Just needed a place for one night. I was skeptical about low price BUT turned out a great stay. Was as clean as any motel/hotel I have ever stayed at. Super friendly service. The huge delicious breakfast was fantastic. At I-24 Calvert City exit. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Arrived late afternoon, road weary from 400 mile trip, and was met with an efficient staff. Changed room to bottom floor when I was not up to stairs. Was in my room within 10 minutes. Friendly, helpfull, and even came up with a gift bag when I found out I had left home without one.

Great value. Surrounding area. The location of the hotel is the only negative. Area is quiet and very accessible but remains of a former nearby service station detract from overall appearance. Room was clean with sparkling chrome in bath area. Free breakfast, that was better than most, was served by a wonderful little 83 year old woman who has been previously described as a breakfast nazi. She was anything but! Great value. Away from the crowd.

Checked in early to the lobby with a fresh smell of baked chocolate chip cookies free at the front counter. X the manager and Y the front desk clerk were changing shifts and treated us like family. Our room was the greatest as nice as a Hilton that we had stayed at a week earlier in Virginia and 50 less in price. The food in the area was wonderful and the knowledge of the staff was awesome. We asked for extra pillows and soaps and nothing was a bother. They offered us the meeting room to play cards in free because there was a large group out by the pool which was so nice and clean. Other than a little attention needed to the landscaping( they did say they had a drought going on which had killed a lot of plants). I have to say we will be back each year twice on our trip to and from Florida. Vernon

The hotel was very clean. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I would stay there again for sure. The only complaint I have is that there was no elevators. It got very tiresome carrying all of our stuff upstairs.

My family and I stayed here a few months ago and I'm a little older woman so I don't have much in life besides my family but Doug the manager and the staff and the morning cook were all just the nicest people I have ever met in my entire life and the stay was just so welcoming and perfect...........We had a wonderful dinner at Pattis which Doug had suggested and everything just was soo wonderful I felt more like I was staying with my own family than in a hotel they just have the best personalities for the business and yet still very very clean and cheap and professional........My family and I will always stay at that Super 8 every time we come through......... I just loved our stay there........ Thank you very very much X! I just loved it .

The room attendants were friendly and did a good job. The breakfast room attendant guarded the food and resented it when people ate it. I dubbed her 'the breakfast nazi'. This was an excellent motel for the money. Room amenities included a coffee pot, iron and board, and blow dryer. The staff was generally friendly with the exception of the woman guarding the food in the breakfast room. Breakfast offerings included hot biscuits and gravy (good), good coffee and a variety of cold cereals.

Bathroom. This hotel was very nice for the price. It should be rated higher than a 1 star. The staff was nice, the hotel was clean and located in a quiet area. It was perfect for our needs.

Everyone had a smile. The access road to the hotel had some drop offs that were hard to see. Was a quite pleasant place to stay. The continental breakfast could have been monitored slightly better, but the lady was very helpful when asked for anything. I will stay there again if ever in that area again.
