The hotel was cheap, but that was about the only positive. The room was very musty largely because there is no central air conditioning and each room relied on ancient window air conditioners. I was very disappointed that the did not have ESPN. Also, the only restaurant nearby is a Denny's. Plus, I read in the Minneapolis paper that there had a been a shooting nearby the hotel the day before I checked in. That always makes you feel comfortable.

Location. Dirty, disgusting & falling apart. One of the worst experiences of my life. Other than the room, the hotel is in shambles. Dirty walls and carpet. The room had been updated but not finished, you could see the marks on the wall from where the old fixtures hung. Staff was very friendly but I cannot believe that the Sheraton would let this hotel represent it's name.

We've stayed at worse, was the phrase we used when we first checked in to this hotel. The positives: We felt safe, the price was in our range, the location close to the event we attended, the furnishings were adequate. The negatives: The building smelled like cigarette smoke, the young woman at the front dest seemed bored, the walls and fixtures needed some repair (paint over wallpaper that was coming loose), and everything appeared to need upgrading.

It was very convenient for public transportation. I had a smoking room. The stench of smoke was everywhere and got in my hair and clothes. Febreeze the smoking rooms. Overall, the hotel was ok for the price. However, cleanliness is something that you should have at any price. The stench of smoke was so bad in the room that I had to spray my pillow and bed sheets with perfume in order to sleep there. The next day, my clothes and hair smelled like smoke. I had problems with allergies because of this. Air conditioning filters should be cleaned, replaced or sprayed with Febreeze or disinfectant spray in smoking rooms to ensure an environmentally friendly environment for patrons. Even people who smoke, need clean, fresh air. Also, I saw cigarette burns on the toilet seat, something like that is not expensive to replace.

Had great access to I-94 and a Denny's right near by for food. Beds were uncomfortable. The rooms were clean, but the beds were uncomfortable. For the price of the room however, was expected level of quality.

Easy to find, good location, easy off-easy on I-94. We were awoken early (6 AM) by trucks noise outside. Rooms were average. Breakfast was adequate but not special. Staff made you feel not too important to them. Room felt cramped although I have certainly had a worse room. Needs sound insulation.

Checking out. I am almost 75. The mattress on the bed was older. I would have been more comfortable camping outside. I've stayed in 25+ super 8s over the years. This was the worst of them!

I did not like anything. It was run down. I also have pictures to prove it. The staff was rude and never there when you needed them. The rooms are dirty and falling apart. The air conditioner didn't work the mattress had giant holes in it. The mattress was stained all over. The ceilings were leaking and had visible water damage. The shower drain was backed up (it was like taking a bath with the shower running) we also had to buy Drain to resolve the problem which only helped a little. None of the outside doors locked so anyone could walk in. The hotel itself is in a bad part of town. Bottom line My trip was ruined because of my hotel stay.

Bedding was clean, bathroom was clean, TV worked and radio/alarm worked. Was a little uncomfortable with the clientele when we arrived at 9:00 p.m. However the halls were quiet and we slept without any noise interruption. I felt the accommodations were appropriate for a motel that you only needed a clean bed to spend the night.

It was pleasant to have a paper in the morning and at least they had a continental breakfast. The tile in the bathroom had some mold growth that I had to clean before showering.

Close to freeway. Non-smoking room smelled like a bar, tiny, hot, and noisy. Should be a place to rent for $25 per night max.

Good manager, clean room service, front desk always available. Smoking, loud noises in the halls at late hours - 3am. Although I was in a non-smoking room, the hallways to my room were filled with smoke and I could smell it in my room. I would suggest separating smoking and non-smoking rooms to the same hallway. The room service was very good. Every day the room was clean and neat. Location of motel was great - right next to a major free-way which allow quick travel.

Priced right and easy to get to. Voices from hallway were so clear; the people could have been in our room-thin doors and walls. Convenient location with low price. Hotel wasn't dirty but wouldn't say it was clean either. The room was clean with older worn furnishings. The walls and door must have been thin because voices from the hallway carried as clearly as if the people speaking them were present in our own room.

The location was good. The evening front desk staff was very rude. He was very short with us. He acted as if he didn't want to be bothered. This hotel had older furnishings. It had no wireless connection for computer access. There was smoking going on in non-smoking areas. I could not get towels or extra blankets and pillows. The hotel staff said that they did not have any. How can you not have towels?

When we drove in the parking lot there were five police cars. Hotel had two ice machines, and none worked. This hotel had what it seemed like a lot of non staffed people hanging around the front desk whenever we went by in the evening. When we first arrived there we were greeted in the parking lot by five police cars. And none of the ice machines were in working order, one not plugged in, and the broken. This looked like it was a older hotel.

The location. The room was very small. And it got very cold during the night and I had no control over the heat (there's was no heat available). I was very disappointed this time around. I did not care for the Super 8 hotel in Brooklyn Center, Minneapolis. MN. And will not return.

It was clean. Room was small but adequate. I felt for the price I paid for my room that this hotel was very adequate. The was small but clean and included a simple breakfast of toast, cereal and juices. If you want a room just to sleep, this Super 8 was perfect.

Friendly staff. Broken ice machine. This motel is a good choice for a low budget trip. The staff is friendly and helpful. All the necessary items were available and in working order.
