Advertised on website they had an extensive game room-totally not true. Had 2 coin operated games and a super small torn up pool table about 30 years old. The pool was ice cold and the dry sauna never got above 72 degrees. The hot tub had broken jets. The elevator broke and we were on the 3rd floor, yet the desk clerk refused to help us carry our bags....

The motel name states bridgeveiw 'area' which is true, but the bridge is not very visible from the rooms. We had second floor balconies with a peek at the bridge towers. A two minute walk, however, and you're at the Straits! The downtown area with many small shops is only four blocks from the motel. We noticed the security issue when we returned from a casino trip at 2AM and walked into the halls via the back entrance without needing any keys. The breakfast area is very small, but the attendant kept it clean and well stocked. Fresh fruit, cereals and Belgian waffles as well as juice, milk, tea and coffee makes a great start to the day. The pool and hot tub were clean, but highly chlorinated. The front desk staff was very attentive, except for the manager, who didn't seem very personable. His responses to questions were nearly a mumble without a smile. Overall, i would highly recommend this property.

They had lots of stuf for kids and had no problems having dog their. My only problems were the breckfast area in morning not enough room to move around not enough tables a problem I have at every hotel 4 chairs to sit at and 20 people. Also pool area and hot tub out dated and game room dirty.

Good location within walking distance. Small breakfast room. Good accommodations for the price. Excellent location amid the vacation scene in Mackinaw City. Amenities were good for price and we would go there again.

My mom and I stay here on the first weekend of August(it was my birthday). We came to this hotel expecting a room with a bridge view liked they claimed, but none of their rooms has a bridge view. I could only see part of the south tower, it was blocked by the high pine tree and the other motel across the street. The staff was rude, the cleaning staff did start cleaning rooms til way after 3-4p, and there was no place to park at all. The room we got was NOT worth 225 a night, it was dinky. We're planning on come back to the Staits next month and we are not planning to stay at this hotel again

The hotel was not very clean at all.The location was very close to shopping and dining.It was also very close to the ferry that takes you to Mackinac Island.Location was an A++.The motel it self was a D-.I would not recommend this one.

This was my first trip to Mackinaw City and my worst hotel experience. The staff was very unfriendly, didn't receive our housekeeping until 5 o'clock in the evening. Were given one room with one bathroom (supposed to be a suite) for 8 people. Would not recommend this hotel to anybody!

Very nice location and friendly staff. Very nice continental breakfast. Needs locks on hall/entrance doors for night. The location was great and the view of the Mackinaw Bridge was neat. The continental breakfast was filling and had lots of selection.

The Super 8 hotel was close to down town and had a great view of the Mackinac Bridge. The breakfast had a good variety. The only down fall was there was a lot of running in the halls and you could hear your neighbor turn on the tv at 5am.

I found my first impressions of this hotel to be great! For the rate, I had a clean room, with two queen beds that included a small refrigerator. However, I did find the bed to be uncomfortable and hard to the point where I woke many times through the night even though I had just been on the road for 7 hours. I would probably stay here again for the price and convenience.

The Super 8's ammenties were all inoperable. We told the staff that the saunna was broken, the whirlpool was not working. Unfortunatley, there was no attempt to fix it while we were there.
