The Super 8 Motel in Boise, Id was an ok place to stay since it was for only one night. The carpet was very spotted. It definitely made me NOT want to walk on the floor even stocking footed. There was a hole in the bathroom door as if someone put a fist through it. Since it was only a one night stay we could put up with it.
Date of Stay:
November, 2008
The room was large and clean. There breakfast was small disappointing. There front desk attendant was very nice the hotel seemed very basic. The room was non smoking and did not smell; the room was also large and clean. The breakfast they offered was very limited not much more then toast.

hallways and stair wells were absolute filthy! I walked up and down the hallway 2 or 3 times and the soles of my feet were black with dirt. No receipt on checkout because of booking with a travel agent.

The hotel is very near to the airport, walking distance. The room service was great.

Location. It smelled like smoke, halls, lobby and bathroom. Even though I was on a non-smoking floor the halls smelled of smoke real bad. My room even smelled of smoke, but not as bad as the halls and lobby.

The desk clerk was really spacey. She kept kidding around with her friend and took forever to check me in. I was in a hurry because my poor pooch was in the car! Also, the room where they have the continental breakfast is just a skinny hallway, and it's awkward to fight people for food. My advice? Go out for breakfast. Other than that, it is a great place to stop w/ a dog. Very clean, inexpensive.

The Super 8 In Boise,ID was an excellent experience in comfort and location. With Applebys right across the street and the "Simmering pot" also closeby we didn't lack for places to eat. Just down the the street we also had Dutch Bros. Gourmet coffee,Which we thought was just as good as Starbucks. We Plan on staying there again in the near future. The Super 8 in question also had a good Continental breakfast bar for our Convenience.

Convenient access to airport. This hotel was fine for our purposes. Close to the airport and convenient for an early flight out the next day. Nothing spectacular, but fine for what we needed.

Our room was wonderful, had 2-queen beds, microwave & fridge. Pet friendly staff - easily accomodated us with our poodle. Room large enough for an additional rollaway bed. Quick breakfast was good but not great. Convienent to freeway, yet relatively quiet. Overall, a great buy for a 5 person traveling party.

no luggage rack or iron and ironing board in room. had to ask for coffee and cups on 2nd day

Very quiet and they were willing to do anything to make my stay wonderful it was very appriciated. The water in the tub did not drain very quick and the bathroom did not have a fan. I would stay there again, this is my second visit and for my budget it was nice to relax after a long day.

The room was very nice;beyond my expectations for this price. I've paid more and wasn't as impressed. The srtaff was very friendly as well. So close to train tracks though; couldn't open the window for fresh air because of it.

We stayed at this hotel due to the free shuttle, they call a cab at their cost. I would stay there again.

Easy access to freeway and shopping in town. The hallways smelled of cigarette smoke as did the room. The only complain we had been the strong cigarette smoke smell in hallways and in the room. It was easy access off the freeway and close to shopping in town.

THe location was VERY convienent to downtown and BSU. It was quiet, even though it's close location to the interstate. Our smoking room had a STRONG ODOR of stale tobacco, and there wasn't a coffee maker, although there was a fridge (YEAH!!) and microwave. Pizza in downtown Boise on 8th Street at the Pie Slice ( I think that's the name) was a cheap and GOOD meal, alot like Brooklyn, NY!!

The Super 8 was incredibly accessible to the airport. The room is exactly what you would expect for that kind of money. We were only there to sleep before catching our plane and it was perfect.

Mattresses on beds are old and you can feel the springs against the hips. Bathroom plumbing had problems. The motel is old and there are sign of mold and stains on fixtures. Overall somewhat dilapidated. I would not recommend it or stay there again.

This hotel was clean and had a nice continental breakfast. Their staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I would give them 5 stars. The decor was somewhat dark and dreary. Smoking rooms and non smoking rooms were not really separated so the whole floor smelled bad. My husband need to rest in the afternoon and someone had left their dogs in the room and they barked the whole time. The window in my mothers room would not open and she had difficulty breathing. The staff were extremely helpful when we had to get oxygen for her though:) The price was great and the staff were wonderful, as I said, but the pool was so full of Chlorine that it took your breath away! I wouldn't say don't go here but not sure we will stay again.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Mat in hallways were always mislaid; had to watch step. Entrance door to our area did not always work with keycard and was held open by a rolled up mat. Hallway mats were never laid down flat causing guests to watch they step and climb over them.
Date of Stay:
July, 2007
We just needed a place to rest before continueing our travel. We got the ajoining rooms and the price was right. The staff was friendly and provided transportation from the airport even though late at night. For what we needed it was great.
