Attended a baseball series at VT. A clean room would have been great. The room stunk and the carpet was dirty as wll as the bathroom. It was not as bad as some trips and worse than others. The attendants were great and the cleaning lady was great when we met with her.

Large bathroom, centre of town, comfy bed. Some of the towels smelled of cigarette smoke; sml fridge was noisy. Of the more inexpensive hotels in the Christiansburg/Blacksburg area, this is by far the best. Though lacking a pool, it is near the centre of Christiansburg (the newer portion of an old town), close to the movie theatre, the mall, and many a wonderful restaurant. It is perhaps a 10 minute drive to the Blacksburg VT campus- during which it is almost impossible to get lost (something which cannot be said for some of the other area budget hotels). The beds here are wonderful... and if you get a room with a recliner, it is wonderful too.The only problems I had with my most recent stay there was a noisy 'fridge (which I simply unplugged), and a few towels which smelled of cigarette smoke (which I didn't use). ..The towels are also wonderfully soft :)

This motel is an easy distance to the Virginia Tech campus and made a good place to stay while attending a conference. The room had a very comfortable reclining chair that was very relaxing after a long day at a conference. Motel is in an area with lots of fast food, and there is a Starbucks and Kinkos within walking distance (but no sidewalks).

Very convenient to shopping and restaurants. Cleanliness. The Super8 Christiansburg/Blacksburg is conveniently located to shopping, restaurants, and a modern movie theater. It is good for an overnight stay - you do not want to spend much time in the room - it's not super clean - and the rooms are small. However, it fits the bill for a quick, overnight stay based solely on price.

Convenient location and really good price. Breakfast was done at 9 AM hardly anything was left by 8:30 a.m. Clean and perfectly priced. Convenient to just about everything.
