The staff at the office was very unfriendly. The bed was giving my husband such a bad backache, we hardly enjoyed our trip in Bishop. We hardly slept with banging door sounds. But most of all, the person at the desk can be a little friendlier for the customer.

Easy to find. The owner seems to be very interested in collecting money, but has no interest on investing one's property. You can enjoy good sleeping, but do not have any expection.

We were on our way to Lake Tahoe and opted to stay the night in Bishop before traveling onward. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and tidy. We checked in real late (11:00 pm), but that was no problem. The shower was hot, cold, hot... not very happy with the temperature changes. Other than that, every thing was as expected. Nice to have a continental breakfast too.

Nice price on a small but clean room. A freezer is available if you need it for your meat and a separate outdoor sink for cleaning fish.

Very unfriendly owner/operator at check in. Landscaping overgrown with weeds. Light bulbs out in bathroom making sight difficult. Water temp fluctuated from hot to cold in shower. TV remote didn't work.

It is very easy to get to and there was no problem with a late check-in. It is a great place to stay on the way to Mammoth Mountain. It is right on the 395 and only about 45 minutes away from the ski resort. The hotel grounds are quiet.

Enjoyed our overnight stay. Will stay there again.

We used this stop for two nights between other destinations. The hotel was OK, but remember you get what you pay for. Some of the staff did not speak english very well and it was hard to communicate. It was clean, if somewhat outdated. The pool was open and satisfactory. The ice machine was broken, but they got us some from behind the counter. Overall, OK for the night, just not for a whole vacation.

The staff was very friendly. Would have preferred a king sized bed. A fine, clean hotel, easily found on the main road through town, with friendly, helpful staff.

The beds were so bad that I spent the rest of my trip trying to fix my back. all I felt was springs. I stayed at this hotel because they had rooms available and it had a pool. The pool was too cold to swim in. I would say 70-73 dergees.

I booked this hotel on this website at a specific price. When I got there, they charged me more than that price. When I questioned the manager about it, he refused to honor the booking price. This is false advertising and not right. DO NOT STAY HERE! The rooms also smell.

We always enjoy our stay.. With friendly staff at the front desk it is a pleasure. The only set back with our recent stay wa the VERY loud air-conditioner that seeemed to have a mind of its' own, and the broken bulb ib te bathroom. When I brought this to the front desk's attention, they were pleased tha we let them know.

This place was disgusting. I was propositioned in the parking lot. Rooms were gross. We checked out the same night.

I arrived at the hotel and checked in. I had never been to this hotel or even to this town. I was welcomed and told about the breakfast in the morning and where the ice and snack machines were located. There were a number of brochures available for local places to eat. When I arrived at my room, it was spotless. I would highly recommend this hotel for long stays or overnight.

Our stay at the Super 8 in Bishop was great. The room was spotless and comfortable. Although the facility was filled to capacity, it was quiet with a good family atmosphere. This is a great value for your money. I would stay there again without hesitation. Visitor from Texas

"This hotel would have been reasonable for about $50 per night, but at $* per night it was a complete rip-off. We had to air out the room everytime we entered for at least 30 minutes because of some odor that was ever-present.The best part of this trip was we learned where NOT to stay."

Perfect for a stop on the way up to Mammoth or wherever. Good value. Easy to find.
