The Super 8 Motel in Belleville, IL was very adequate and acceptable for my needs. It was centrally located for my purpose including proximity to dining. It was not fancy but certainly adequate and the motel staff were very polite and professional.

I do not like the new light bulbs as it was difficult to read anything by that light. I rally can't write anything since I arrived late in the evening and stayed only overnight. My main purpose was to attend a meeting in Mascoutah and this was the closest I could get to that city.

The room we booked was in an area which was basically downtown and not at all convenient access. The room was old in appearance and reeked of smoke. The linens and bed were of poor quality...lots of lumps and dips. The sheets were not tucked in and the bed appeared barely made. I would personally not recommend this hotel. We needed to stay near our family who lives in Swansea...next time we'll look for lodging in Fairview Heights.

The Price. The smell of the room. Hotel staff not big on talking with customers. On phone, ignored me until they got off. Did not feel very important.

Good deal for the price - met our needs. Hotel is nice, simple, clean and located well, friendly staff, VERY limited free breakfast. Room had a microwave and refrigerator, but NO HAIR DRYER and NO COFFEEMAKER. If I had known ahead of time, would have BROUGHT MY OWN.

Located in nice area. Upholstry needed cleaning. Nice community hotel. A few minor dislikes, but I would recommend it to someone needing an inexpensive hotel.

They should have a printer for guests to use to print their boarding passes and itineraries. This is absolutely the most beautiful super 8 we have ever stayed at. It is decorated in a high-class fashion, and the staff is always ready to help. We really liked this place!

Price, cleanliness. At least free coffee in the morning would be nice. The people were friendly and helpful. It was listed as being 5 miles to the Shrine, but it is actually closer to 10 miles.

Clean and near what I was in town to do. Minimal parking. I enjoyed my stay and the staff was friendly and helpful. I got a late check out on request. Room was clean and orderly. I got what I expected out of the hotel. I would recommend to others.

Checking out. Checking in till checking out. My clothes smelled of this odor which remained in the room. There were stains around the toilet, garbage in the trash can, holes in the walls, I had the ice machine right next to me, my view was of the stairwell and vending machines. I do realize that this was a one star but talk about overrating an establishment. I only wanted to sleep there because of travel having back to back days of symposiums and still found myself checking out at 6am just to get out of there.
