It was in a convenient location to a mall and a wonderful diner. The outside door was not locked at night and this was a slight concern. The manager was extremely helpful. We arrived earlier than expected and he graciously upgraded our room so as to allow us to have a room available immediately. It was much appreciated!

NEVER STAY HERE!!!! My trip was for 5 days & I stayed at this location because it was the only hotel that offered internet in the area. It was clean & you felt secure. As it turned out they had a problem w/ their wireless router & internet was not available. I was a little disappointed that I could not verify my return flight home or keep up on things at work but I figured I might be able to get a 10 refund or maybe something for my next visit. When I approached the owner he told me I should have stayed somewhere else. I explained I was traveling alone & didn't want to pick up in the middle of my trip & try to find a different hotel. The conversation got so heated on his side that I was repeatedly begging him to stop yelling at me. There were other people around which was very embarrassing & I was amazed at how angry he had gotten so quickly. I asked him if he realized how mad he was & again please stop yelling at me. It got to the point where I told him to forget the refund; I just wanted my receipt back. When I reached for it he pulled it away from me & said he would return 20. I thanked him & left, never to return to this location. The owner of this location is the rudest person I have ever dealt with. I'd rather stay in a tent!!!

It seemed to be clean. But, the smoke from other rooms and the hallway came into my room! As a non-smoker, I will not stay at this hotel again. Smoke from the hallway and the other rooms came into my non-smoking room. I smelled smoke all night long. In fact, the smell of cigarette smoke woke me up a number of times during the night. They should have the smokers on the second floor and the non-smokers on the first floor. they should also prohibit smoking from occurring in the hall ways.

The pool was out of order and the hot tub was also and the exercise room was not available either. It is an average hotel for the price.

The front desk clerk was very nice. Nothing. The manager has a great amount of tunover in front desk help of which we had no problem with; but this makes a manager very uneasy as he never knows if they will turn up or not for their shift.

Room was clean. Continental breakfast horrible. Only hotel in Beardstown. Clean but not as safe as I prefer. Outside door to hotel key not working-always open. Single female traveler placed on 1st floor.

It was easy to find. Worn out towels and sheets. Rooms seem dingy and overpriced! I would not recommend to anyone I would refer to the super 8 in beards town more as the sleazy 8. For the quality I feel that it was much overpriced.
