Date of Stay: May, 2009

The hotel would not let us move our reservation date despite the availability of rooms. I called them and checked if rooms were available, but since we prepaid they didn't care. We were trying to adjust our stay due to the space shuttle launch day changing. So I had to stay at another hotel, or give them more money. We ended up staying at a much nice hotel for the same rate. We did still use the reservation and spent an extra day on Cocoa Beach. Upon arrival the front desk clerk would have rather continued to chat with her friend rather than help us. We got checked in, and got all of our stuff to the room when I decided to take a shower. The shower was filthy. It was stained a dingy brown, and there were long black hairs in the bottom along with some green pieces of trash. We were moved to another room which was better. It was only missing a trash can.

The A/C did not work properly. They said it was OK. I was quoted per night, they charged me for the second night, which was the night of the shuttle launch. I told them to correct it, I will see if my credit card is billed properly.

Decent hotel, with excellent location. Right off of I-95, short drive to Port Canaveral and Cocoa Beach. Plumbing in our room was a little shaky. With the shower on, over half of the water was still coming out of the tub faucet. Also, wireless internet was very bad. Was told to use the neighboring hotel's internet, which required walked to the other side of the hotel to get in range.

I thought it was too good to be true. This hotel is located right on the beach, I thought it was a great bargain until I asked to see the room. The first room I saw had hair on the pillow cases and crumbs on the floor. I asked to see another room thinking this one was just not cleaned well. The second room had dead flies in the bathtub, and the toilet had urine stains on the seat. That was enough for me, no need to see another room. I canceled my reservation and went to another hotel. I would not stay here for 10 a night.

Easy to find and good for the cost. Construction on Highway right by it so noisy. Lobby closed after 10:00PM so no one to help if you need anything. I would stay there again. It was nice for the price. In a good location to be close to the beach and Kennedy Space Center.

With one pleasant exception, office staff was either indifferent or hostile. Room not ready when promised. We had to shuttle between Super 8 and adjacent Ramada offices to get information, keys, etc instead of staff calling to solve problems. Late night curfews on pool, noise were not enforced. Ash tray, where guests chatted and smoked, was three feet from our non-smoking room. Continental breakfast consisted of tiny apples, muffins & begals (read items sometimes moldy). Heavily traveled freeway 100 yards from east rooms. After nights of fitful sleep, we check out with great relief.

The Super 8 at Cocoa was a dive. I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. My family showered with our flip-flops on because the tub was filthy, we couldn't call our front desk because there wasn't one. Apparently they were having computer problems, their computer seemed to work fine on the Ramada side of the adjoining hotels!!! The beds had sheets full of holes on them and the matresses fell off of the box springs when you sat down on them. The bathroom door wouldn't close fully because the flat paint was making it stick and when we did finally get it closed, you couldn't be left alone in the hotel room because the person using the washroom was stuck in it. The door had to be opened from the outside!! The baseball teams that were staying at the hotel went out and bought their own cans of lysol to dissinfect their rooms. Breakfast was fine, but there never seemed to be anything refilled...did I mention there was a baseball tournament going on?? This hotel needs a serious overhaul. I would recommend that the owner/manager stay in one of the rooms for the weekend and then make the necessary changes.

Everything was ready when I arrived and it was convenient. I had too little time there. The hotel was located next to another hotel and they worked together to meet guests needs. The staff was available and transparent when not needed. Services were great. I could rate my room as a 3 or 4 star room but I remain modest in evaluation.

The Super 8 Motel was very hard to find, not only that but also the room was clamp, the A.C. you could not turn off, the Cable did not work. I would not recommend this hotel to no one only as a last resort.

I liked nothing about this hotel. Staff did not help, manager did not return calls. Actually a horrible experience. All I wanted was a room, internet, and TV. Room had small bugs all over the phone, internet would not work, and no staff would help me. HBO was not working and staff said, "Nothing we can do about it". Asked to speak with manager 2 times, after speaking with staff 5 times, manager never returned phone call. Poor place, with terrible staff.

Last stay I was satisfied it was all around satisfactory though not outstanding. But this stay - the hot water only drizzled, and the tv reception was mostly fuzzy, and the blankets had smoke burns in them. I brought my concerns to the front desk and they apologized and told me they were having some difficulties with electrical problem and cleaning staff and were working on it. But I do like the size and comfort of the rooms and the pool right close to the rooms. The location was also very convenient for my purposes. And the Front desk help was very courteous and understanding.

We were disappointed we had to go a ways off the premises to get something to eat. There was a restaurant there but they closed at 10:am and did not reopen to five.

Not too far from the beach, good value, clean, easy access. The rooms need a bit of a face lift, we had a few ants but hey its Florida. Most of the staff were very friendly. The rooms were better than I expected for an economy motel. It is located within close proximity to many eateries, and was only 25 minutes from the beach, 45 minutes from Disney & Universal. There is some highway noise at one end of the complex, but the AC muffles the sound out. All in all we were really satisfied.

The staff truly tried to make our stay pleasant. The room didn't have micro wave, fridge. So the stay cost us more, due to meals being brought in. The staff truly tried to make things work.

Easy to find, friendly staff. Not enough roll away beds. Nice hotel to stay in. Staff was friendly and rooms were clean. Easy to find stores and restaurants. 15 minutes to Cocoa Beach. We were going on a cruise and drove from Ohio. For the location and price, it was perfect.
