Hotel had few non smoking rooms, but hotel was very clean, with no smoke smell from other rooms. Breakfast room was small, with usually menu for a continental breakfast..

Location. Hallways reeked of smoke, clerk was writing credit card numbers on scrap paper. Definitely an economy hotel. However not many lodging options to choose from in this town. Would stay there again.

Okay for the night. Average Super 8

Shabby, fluorescent lighting, hard beds, noisy, clerk was terse and unhelpful. The outside access doors were left unlocked despite signs saying that they are locked at all times. Indoor pool looks clean. Internet access OK. I paid way too much for this place and I will avoid this hotel in the future.

Facility and room was very clean. Continental breakfast area was small. Good value with clean rooms.

We made the reservations on line and also called to confirm them only to find out when we arrived that there were no reservations, even though I had a confirmation number and print out with me. They were able to find us a room, of which the bed was extreamly hard. The next morning the breakfast was almost gone by 7 am and the room to eat in is very small. A week later we were then stranded in Baker City due to a winter storm and decided to give them one more try as the rates were reasonable. We had paid $* plus $10 pet fee. Due to the demand they now wanted $*plus $25 pet fee. We went to the Oregon Trail Motel and Restaruant. They had reduced there rates to accomdate the travelers that were stranded and gave us two coupons for breakfast at the restaurant. I would not recommend the Super 8 and would say check out the Oregon Trail Motel instead.

When traveling on business I typically arrive late and leave early. Baker is a beautiful, sleepy eastern Oregon community with very conventional business hours. Super 8, baker is located on the edge of the only food and highway services in the entire community that operate with extended hours.

The security was good. Pool had way too much chlorine in it; I could not get in this pool. It was listed that there was a continental bleakest, this was a cup of coffee and a muffin, very bad.

This was the perfect overnite stay after a stressful snow filled trip from La Grande on the way to Boise. Rate was great for middle of the week $60. Room was perfect, comfortable and clean. TV was good and channel choices were good. Continental Breakfast was great. Coffee maker in room was a plus. Staff was super friendly and eager to please. If ever in Baker City again, will definatley stay here!

The People who worked at the hotel went out of their way to be nice. The Women who cleaned the rooms were always very cordal, leaving nice notes urging me to have a nice time. Whenever I came to the front check-in center for information the people there were always very helpful giving me accurate and useful tips about the town around the hotel. I really enjoyed my stay and plan to go b ack to the hotel in the summer when the weather is more hospitable.

It was very convenient. The bed was not as comfy as other motels I've stayed in. The motel is need of a make over. It was fine for a night, but I would not want a 1 star.

The new breakfast is such a great improvement.

The Motel 8, Baker, City, Oregon was a great place to stay, the rooms were comfortable, the location (Baker City) was great. We were traveling to another long-term location with several friends, and the spaciousness of the rooms worked well to hold a get-together after a long days travel. We enjoyed the pool area and hot tub, and they were easy to access from our rooms. The continental breakfast, while not hot, was more than adequate and we got a great start for our next days' travel. I would come back to this motel for an extended stay, since it was comfortable, clean, and in an area where a lot of Oregon history occurred.
