Friendly and helpful staff. There was a total of 5 out-of-town families staying at the motel. The purpose of our stay at the Avon Super 8 was to attend a family wake and funeral in the area.

Stayed September '08 for the MotoGP race. At first, the front desk girl seemed like she was somewhere else and that place wasn't a good one. I purposely went out of my way to be nice to her and it seems that the couple of times I went to the lobby afterwards, her mood changed for the better. There are the usual small things with a place this size, some messed up wallpaper, bad paint), but nothing major at all. Make sure you bring a CAT 5 patch cable for internet. They do have wireless, but it is horrible. I would up making up patch cables for a few other guests I came across.

We recently stayed at this hotel due to convience. Our son had just had a new baby and he lives in the Avon area. This was the closet hotel to his home. We have stayed here in the past but it had been approx. five years since our last stay here. The hotel staff was unprofessional upon our check in. The desk clerk was messing with photos and a locked drawer and we had to ask that he check us in. The beds were so lumpy & hard - needed replaced. The pillows & linens were also unacceptable. The towels flet like drying off with sand paper- needed softener. We didn't try the breakfast offered. And when we checked out a day ealry - they didn't even inquire why? or what they could do to make our stay more enjoyable.I called your online travel website staff to get a credit for this night. And the agent said that he would call the hotel to make sure they hadn't charged us and call me back. I'm still waiting on that return call. An unsatisfied customer -

I recommend this hotel, to anyone who is staying in this area. The staff was great, I had some xpedia troubles they helped me solve it. The hotel and the rooms were very clean. GREAT STAY!!

Great location!Everything you may need is nearby Super Wal Mart,food,shopping,and best of all only 7.5 miles from the race track.They had friendly staff,clean facilities,and made us feel at home.

In the heart of Avon, which was conveniently close to area stores. The breakfast is not for those on low carbohydrate diets (bagels & pastries mainly). Overall, I think this is a decent hotel. The pool adds to the family-friendly aspect, but the "Quick Start Breakfast" was simply bagels, muffins and cereal with coffee, milk and various juices to drink. So, if you have picky eaters, then you should probably bring in your own breakfast. Other than that, I found it acceptable for a one-night stay.

The Super 8 in Avon was very clean, nice and quite for the stay. They were so helpful. We would definately stay there again. It was centrally located to good restrauants and great shopping. The bed was very comfortable and the size of the room was bigger than I was expecting.

The location was great for our Christmas plans with family. They allow dogs who bark during the night. This Super 8 Hotel is very attractive looking on the exterior. The rooms are fine and spacious. The only thing I see that could be improved on is the mattress on the beds.
