I wasn't sure what to expect with this motel, but it turned out to be a great value. If you are looking for a good price and a relatively comfortable place to lay your head, give this one a try. It's certainly not a 5-star hotel, but for the $50 a night I was paying, I was pleasantly surprised. The location is great, right on the main road through town. The room and bathroom were clean, check-in was very easy, there was easy to access free wi-fi in the room (plus a physical Ethernet cord I didn't have cause to try), and a lot of cable channels (about 75) to choose from. I didn't use them, but my king-bed room included a refrigerator and microwave along with the standard coffee maker. The sheets and towels weren't the softest I'd ever used, but they were more than tolerable. This was a non-smoking room; I didn't detect any old smoke odors. If you have a lot of electronics to charge up, you might want to bring a small power strip. There weren't many free power outlets in the room.

A bit far from the Thruway, but it was clean and we were able to get our room early which was a plus.

I needed a room for one evening and wasn't going to spend much time in the room. The hotel needs updated but it was okay. It is easy to get to the Premium Outlets and also Bass Pro Shop from the hotel. Make sure you try the Auburn Family Restaurant about a 1/2 mile away. Good food and reasonable. It closes at 4pm though.

Their ads say they offer "low weekly rates" but when I asked, they told me that they only offered weekly rates during the winter. Apparently, if they can still make a buck off of vacationers and weekend travellers, they're not interested in business people who are in town for a week or more. To me ,that sounds like false advertising!

it was ok for a one night stay on a trip thru the area. i would not plan to stay multiple days at this hotel.

Clean rooms. No public restrooms or dining area. Very clean and well kept rooms, no pool, snack bar or restaurant and very limited continental breakfast.

I was greeted by a man with a great sense of humor and a solid understanding of the neighborhood. He sent us in the right direction for good food. All room amenities worked and the whole family had a good time.

It was clean. It was convenient to events attending. Bed was horrible. Staff was not pleasant.

This motel is located very close to restaurants and shops,( within a half mile.) We were working at Bass Pro Shop, which is about 3/4 of a mile. Staff was very friendly. For the price, it was worth it.

Inexpensive for area, yet comfortable for our group. Nice people. Sign for entrance was very hard to find. Too small. Because it was inexpensive, we worried that it would be lesser in quality, too. That was not the case. Though basic, it ended up very satisfactory, and the proprietors were very nice and accommodating, making extra coffee, giving suggestions for eating, etc. The hotel is located in a rather funky-looking neighborhood, but it turned out well.

Auburn is my hometown; how it has changed. I lived my first eight years at 20 Orchard Street, almost visible from this Super 8. My brother and his wife were in Auburn and tehy were staying here so this is how I got here too. I stayed the Sunday night as well before leaving for my friend's house outside Keene, New Hampshire. My room, while upstairs, was comfortable and quiet. I did feel there should have been an ice machine upstairs, closer to the front...it was a long way to go. This Super 8 is located between the east and west portions of the arterial highway so there is no room for a restaurant, pool, or other things. However, I will probably stay there again...although not in 2008.

They remembered us as regular customers, and were pleased we came back. The room we stayed in did not have a window screen, and we were not able re open the window. The hotel went out of their way to do the best they could do for our weekend stay. We frequently spend the weekend in auburn, and always like to stay at the hotel. They are friendly and always help us when needed.

Perfect for my overnight business trip. Clean, quiet, reasonable priced and convenient location.

Nothing. 1st room sent to was a single bed when we reserved 2 room 2 double bed non smoking. I would not recommend it for comfort, if you just want a place to lay your head you will survive.

Friendly staff. Hard/older mattress. People were friendly; very basic accommodations, place was clean enough, but an older establishment.

Coffee maker in the room, but not enough coffee, especially for someone who drinks a lot of coffee. Window screen hole, had to plunge the toilet after using, smelled like mold, bed was very hard! We were not very happy with this hotel when checking in I was told that someone had called that day and canceled our reservations. Being on the road there was no way that we were able to do that. There was no one to check us in after waiting almost 15 minutes. Our room smelled like mold, as did the fridge, and the window screen had a hole in it that we kept a book over to keep bugs out. Our toilet wasn't flushing right and instead of having someone fix it like we were told we had to keep the plunger in our room for the whole stay. Not impressed at all!

Friendly staff. Hard to find the hotel because of poor signage. It is definitely an economy grade hotel. No restaurant on site, but good recommendation from the front desk for one within walking distance. Continental breakfast is adequate, but fresh fruit would improve it greatly.

Clean and quite. Hard to locate due to local traffic patterns, needs a lager sign. I would stay there again. Price and location were good.

They were very friendly & helpful at check in. The location was a little hard to find, needed better signs. It was a good place to stay for the night, the breakfast was not too great, but we would stay again.

Friendly staff. Bed was too firm. If you are looking for an inexpensive hotel, near to the center of Auburn, the Super 8, although not an upscale hotel, will nicely fit the bill.
