Cheap close to the boardwalk

Location. Staff. This hotel wasjust OK. It was located a block from the Boardwalk.

The Super 8 is at an excellent and safe location. It's half a block down from the boardwalk and all the casinos and restaurants. The room was very clean and comfortable. We had a good night's sleep. There was continental breakfast in the morning. It wasn't what we expected but once again it was great to be included in the room price. We had our fill. There's a parking lot on the side of the hotel for guests . Overall, if you want to be close to everything without having to pay a lot for it, this hotel is a good way to go. The Super 8 is the best to visit in all of Atlantic City! An affordable establishment with excellent accomodations.

We stayed one night March 21st 2008 (2 adults, 2 children) and overall were pleased with everything from beginning to end!

Completely horrible. The pictures online were photo shopped. Some of the staff didn't speak english AT ALL, the staff was rude, the rooms VERY small, musty, and dirty, The hotel itself was falling apart, wallpaper peeling, non-working elevator, the pool was being demolished. It was in a really bad neighborhood that was much further than 1/2 block from the boardwalk. This motel was a complete disaster. For a little more money you can stay on the boardwalk.

Spacious and cleanly. Not located in the best area. Fairly nice hotel my room was secluded off in a corner however the service was both adequate and friendly.

The staff is not up to my standards and it showed. Bathroom shower curtain smelled like urine. A/C did not cool the room. Never again.

Very sleazy area. The bar across the street was loud, but the bar next door was scarey and I wouldn't walk past without being with someone. They say 1/2 block to the boardwalk. It's more like 4 blocks and it is past a very seedy bar. The area was dirty and trashy. You'd think they would at least pick up around the building. I will say the rooms were clean, just old and needed better upkeep! The front desk was not very friendly or helpful! It was cheap for AC, but I've been in better hotels for a lot less! "

The stay was good just disappointed about the condition of the pool and not everyone drinks coffee. Some guest like myself and my husband drink hot chocolate which we feel should have been included in the continental breakfast.

It was clean and convenient. Parking was limited. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We felt safe and comfortable in the hotel.

My husband and I chose this hotel for our vacation to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. While the room was clean throughout our stay, the location was in a bad part of town to which both of us were always afraid to leave the hotel for fear of getting mugged. We also didn't like the fact that the pool not only was closed, but it had been dug up and was completely unusable. It wasn't exactly the best view from our window. The breakfast, though it was free, consisted of stale muffins and warm milk for cereal.

Location was very convenient. Breakfast was horrible. Was very pleased with the location and price of the hotel. My only problem was by accident I left behind some jewelry, I called the hotel the next morning and was told they would speak to the house keeping personnel and get back to me, no one had stayed in the room since we were there, and house keeping did not turn in anything found,. They never got back to me and my jewelry is now gone. The house keeping staff is dishonest and I probably would not stay there again.

This was the worst money I ever spent on a hotel. I have vowed to never again go by price. The men in thet lobby were VERY rude to me and the people I was staying with. Parking is absolutely horrible as well! If you can go somewhere else then do that- absolutely not worth it!!!

Great deal room was very clean and nice. Great location 1 block from the boardwalk. Work is being done on the pool it was a little noisy. The only problem we came accross was the poeple staying next door to us they kept waking us up because were partying all night. Should have called the front desk. The hotel staff were very nice.

Friendly staff. Apparently under remodeling; if not, there were many unfinished items that need immediate attention; outmoded décor. For its proximity to the boardwalk, the location is good, though the neighborhood is far from upscale. Apparently, the motel is in the midst of remodeling. If it is not, it should be as there are many unfinished items, especially in the public spaces, and the decor is quite outmoded. Overall, the staff is friendly, and the pool is well-maintained. If you can get it for a reasonable price and you are not looking to spend much time in your hotel room, it's perfectly fine.

This hotel is located across the street from a Bar that was VERY loud until 3AM. There is no sound proofing in the hotel heard even people talking outside on the sidewalks!!! Do not recommend this hotel if you want some quiet. It wasn't that clean either.

The hotel was very convenient for walking to the convention center. I would stay at the hotel again when I go back to Atlantic City! My stay was to attend cnference at the cnvention center. Nothing missing. I did not have to drive while I was there.
Date of Stay:

The continental breakfast and the pool. Some employees were mean to my kids and they watched our every move, I was very uncomfortable. I think some of their employees need to learn to be nice to travelers and respectful of women and children.
Date of Stay:
April, 2009
Brief (my husband and I were only in the hotel for the evening and getting ready to leave the next morning), but it has what we all really need--a bed. Considering we went to a concert, we pretty much came home and crashed immediately afterwards, but the location is great for the price. Downside: If the weather ends up being, well, not so pleasant, and you are hungry, your dining options are to get up, go out, and deal with it, or order from one of the many pizza/delivery resturants in the area.
