Very comfortable, clean, modest, well-kept, affordable accommodation. Pool was cold. For a small town motel in southern Illinois, this one is very well-kept and clean. I've stayed at this motel a couple of times over the past couple of years when I visit my brother, and it has maintained a nice and friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend.

The hotel was dirty and The pool was dirty the room was dirty and stunk I would not stay here again!

No fault of the hotel but it was deer hunting weekend and other travelers awoke at 4am and were quite loud through out their breakfast and coffee

I traveled almost 8 hours to taste some of the best wines in the world at the wineries near by the hotel. I was pleased when I got to the hotel and there were in room hair-dryers, a fridge and microwave, and coffee pots in the rooms. I was not expecting the hotel to be as clean as it was or the staff as friendly as they were. For * bucks a night I felt like I was getting a good deal! Not to mention that they even had a continental breakfast in the morning... they don't offer much but the rolls and coffee is more then what I usually get anyway! Not only did I visit all of the wineries in the area I got the chance to visit Giant City Lodge.... talk about a piece of heaven in the middle of no where that was the best state park and restaurant I have EVER been to! I will defiantly be coming back I enjoyed the small town quietness and the friendly small talk of the staff.

Located in the beautiful Ozark-Shawnee forest. Convenient access from I-57 or scenic US Rt. 51. Dont miss the Shawnee wine trail. Some of the best wines in the country. Fishing, hunting, boating, hiking, its all there.

Breaking down is not the best thing to happen to anyone. The staff at the hotel was amazing and very helpful. I was shocked to realize that this small hotel had Jacuzzi rooms available! I enjoyed a nice soak in peace and quiet and then had good night sleep in the comfortable bed. The rooms were clean, hotel lobby was nice the only improvment the hotel needed was a little more at breakfast (eventhough I was shocked that they offered anything at all). I would reccomend this hotel to anyone. "
