Shuttle service was excellent to and from airport. From description, we thought this was closer to downtown. There was a bus, but this far out it ran only once per hour. Also breakfast was quite limited with no jelly or cream cheese for English muffins, one kind of cold cereal. No pool or hot tub to relax tired legs.

Room was too hot! Lots of street noise. It was very dirty. Carpets were dirty, no ice machine except in main lobby. I could go on and on.

stains on the wall. Cigarette burns and slit mattresses. Filthy, filthy, filthy

Since I was traveling alone, I appreciated the friendliness of the staff and the fact that I felt safe there. There was only a smoking room available so even though the room was clean, it felt dirty because of the smoke smell. The rest of the hotel was kept up very well. The airport shuttle left every half hour which was great. You have to walk 4 blocks to find a restaurant. The continental breakfast didn't have much to offer.

Staff was exceptionally nice. Rooms need updating. The rooms had five star decors. The staff was exceptionally nice and very helpful. I will stay there again when I am back in Anchorage in January.

This is a typical Super 8, but thiis is a good value hotel. The place is clean and good location.

Quick trip requires trust when you cannot spend a lot of money and hope you are not booking yourself into "Rip Off Arms." The hotel is basic, clean, safe, and the staff was warm and friendly. Not the hotel for a honeymoon, but great in a pinch on a shoestring budget.

Friendly staff, coffee set up, smoking rooms, bath area andbed. Housekeeping needs improvement in bedroom I had. Good location in Anchorage, beds were comfortable, smoker accommodating, comfortable size bathroom, appealing building and grounds, parking free and convenient. However, there was no in-house restaurant/bar.

Air conditioner never worked, kept freezing over, room was always too hot. Staff was helpful & friendly overall though.

Comfortable beds and coffee pot in room. Next to busy highway. This hotel is conveniently located, though the lobby is less than inviting. Very loud vending machines overpower the television and the clerks in the small foyer. Rooms are large and beds are comfortable.

Very friendly staff. Very expensive, but didn't seem to be that nice. verall, the hotel staff was very nice and helpful, the rooms were clean, and they lobby area was pretty nice but very small.

I needed a place to wait between sending off the moving van and going to the airport. Very comfortable accommodations with quite a few little extras; hair dryer, coffee maker, cable tv and most important to me - a freezer to keep all that salmon and reindeer sausage! The hotel does not have dining facilities, but there are many options in the immediate area. Excellent location and friendly, helpful staff.

The hotel was clean, attractively decorated, in a great location. I did not see an elevator that took us to our second floor room, but that was not a problem. We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful location of the hotel. The staff was friendly and the grounds were beautiful. Our room was very large and had a romantic seating area. The classical music played softly in the lobby and second floor open area made it even more enjoyable. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family. In fact if I'm ever in Fairbanks again, I'll stay at this Rivers Edge resort.

Here's what we found unacceptable about this Super 8 Motel: This hotel was not in a good neighborhood. The cleanliness of the lobby was acceptable and the registration staff was polite, but our room was another story. The place smelled unclean and the carpets looked as though they had never been cleaned. Someone set the alarm clock to go off around midnight - again startling us awake. The continental breakfast consisted of a couple choices of dry cereal and coffee served in a small dining area with an overflowing trash container and dirty counters. There was a toaster and microwave, but only cereal available for guests. We could see bread selections in the staff lounge, but none were offered to the guests. We would not stay here again, nor would we recommend this hotel to anyone.

Friendly people. Dirty sheets on the bed, dirty bathtub, no shower curtain provided 1st night. Very dirty, hair on everything. They need to vacuum more frequently.

My first stay in a hotel. I prefer motels out side entrances. The elevator was clean and large enough. Room seamed small but adiquate. Bathroom was comfortable. plenty of hot water. teperature remained constant. over all, we were satisfied.

Wireless access. Took overnight to get a key that worked. It's alright for the price.

The only reason we stayed is because of how late it already was. I really got upset when I still had to pay full price...

Good location, easy access. Too much cigarette smoke. The motel was convenient, staff was friendly.
