The first impression is not "this is the best you could find", poor pool, ordinary location, very noisy hydraulic plant. But, nice people at the reception, breakfast not bad and very good price help to take away a decent and positive idea

Nearness to Monte Visa and Alamosa National Wildlife Refuges. Room smelled of sweat, hot tub didn't work. Ok for one night when you don't expect much. Entry to hotel was inconvenient, but no big deal. Staff was friendly enough, and I had no problems to put them to the test. Biggest shortcoming was that the hot tub didn't work and the room smelled of sweat.

We enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is older and the pool is somewhat small, but for a place to lay your head it is perfect. There are new managers onsite at this hotel and they were very friendly. The contential breakfast is nice.

Simple, adequate and comfortable. View from our room was the hotel's dump for broken furniture. Easy to find on the west side of Alamosa. Met nearly all our expectations. Vending area was clean and functional. Continental breakfast was simple and good. AC in our room was inop and the vanity drain was slow but we weren't spending enough time there to bother mgt with the issues. The area is a rural, small-town backwater and it is easy for hotel staff to neglect finer details. Apart from the finer details, the property is well run, comfortable and functional.

the room freshner or cleaner was overwhelming, and gave me a headache. it could be toned down quite a bit and still do the job.

The stay was OK. No remote for the TV in the room, had to go down to desk to locate one. Creeking noise all night long from the roof. Do not get a room next to the stairs. Very noisy traffic up and down the stairs.

This motel was clean, but the shower head sprayed water all over, not in a stream.The bed was comfortable and they gave me a third pillow, as I need to elevate my head due to a medical problem I have.

Available and we were tired. I wouldn't stay at a super 8. This hotel was a flea bag type- old, dirty,simple, not well lit.

Nothing. Filthy dirty. Ihave written super 8 myself because this was totally ridiculous. The hotel was dirty from the lobby to the rooms. No coffee, no service, no breakfast until 8 am. What kind of service is that. The pool is a mere puddle no waynever again.
