This trip was for a funeral. The room was clean, comfortable and provided a TV, micro. and refrig.; there is a small table with chairs, too. This motel offers rooms with a single queen bed and rooms with two doubles. We stayed in a double-double, which suited us well. The parking is next to the building and access to rooms is by indoor hallway. Desk staff was very helpful, kind and thoughtful. Maids were patient with our relatively late departure. Orbitz offered the best price on the internet for this hotel (better even than the hotel's website). Lodging choices in Ainsworth are limited because the town is not large (though it has some great shops on Main Street as well as a Pamida directly across from an Alco store on Hwy. 20). There is a bowling alley in the area near Alco, too. The other chain hotel in town (almost directly across the street)appears to be newer and may offer rooms with larger beds; we did not explore that option. Breakfast is included with the room (cereal, biscuits and gravy on the day we were there). Big John's Cafe is just two doors down for heartier appetites and there is a Subway close-by for lunchtime fare. The Super 8 is not a new, fancy establishment. If you are looking for a reasonably priced, clean, comfortable place that provides the basics and a service-minded staff...and you don't need plush carpet and room service...you will likely find that this motel will meet your needs. The only fault we found with the arrangement of the room was that the sink was located inside the bathroom, and that slowed us down a bit (easily worked around, though). If you are in the area for a vacation, don't miss the drive to Springview, NE, it's beautiful. Look around and enjoy the beauty of this unique part of the country. The underground aquifer is a state treasure. This motel was a travel bargain and we would stay there again.

The super start breakfast was not that great-barely warm biscuits and gravy. Recliner in room as broken and dirty. Would only stay in this hotel if in a pinch and couldn't find anywhere else to stay.

We were given a smoking room accidentally but they switched us immediately when we brought it to their attention. The room was small but clean and had the neccessities. The linens were nice for a Super 8 and the bed was ok... nothing special. Breakfast was relatively simple but at least they had something to eat. The housekeeping staff checked with us each morning to see if we needed anything which was unexpected but ensured satisfaction.
