i went on my own, am older and had a wonderful time! The staff were marvelous-always helpful,always smiling.The food was very good and i was able to experience both restaurants which very very nice.I was treated like a queen the whole time. The beach is beautiful,try the snorkelling off a boat -it is amazing and the parasaling try that too - it is scary for a few minutes but absolutely fantastic! The beach grill was the best- especially the crab salad and fries! And of course the drinks! I would have really liked to have had a proper balcony rather than a french balcony but other than that it was one of my best holidays and i truly thank all the wonderful staff for making it that way. Thank you.

If I had 2 days I would say don't go to Nassau go somewhere else it is horrible and the people will treat you like trash, they are rude and nasty my husband and I just got back August 28th, 2007 what a nightmare, we paid extra to leave a day early. I have been to Breezes what a hell hole don't go please you will be angry and upset that you wasted precious money it's terrible just like Atlantis. The rats and roaches were everywhere we stayed at Atlantis Hotel the one that is advertised on TV and paid over $500.00 a night, our room had air condition for one night then it went out. We asked to be moved to another room and we were told by the clerk they were full, and that we could either deal with it or leave. Nassau is a joke don't waste your money. Go to the Florida keys its great.

The hotel room wasn't as nice as I expected it to be. The dresser drawers were broken and made the room look "run downed". Saw a cockroach outside one of the rooms too. They were always "cleaning" the pool with cleansers with people IN the pool or hot tub. This should be done at night when there is no one in the pool, not when people are trying to enjoy themselves. Overall just not what I expected it to be. Could be that I just expect alot for my money or that I'm too picky but I don't think I would go there again.

I was having second thoughts about going to Breezes at first because of some of the reviews I had read, but after the first day I knew I made the right choice of resorts. It was a great trip that was made even better because of the wonderful staff that works there, they were very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a fancy over the top, get dressed every night for dinner, pay for every drink and meal then this is not the place for you. But if you are looking for an all inclusive with good food, fun,great drinks,fun, relaxed atmosphere and did I mention fun then this is definitely the place for you. So if you decide to visit Breezes in the Bahamas say hello to Carla, Aveanell, Reggie, Tena, Shelly and Antoinette just some of the staff who made my trip so pleasurable.

We stayed for a week during our Spring Break, four of us. This hotel is in serious need of upgrades. If you've never stayed in a nice resort before, this might appear to be an okay place...but it's really GROSS! First of all, the entire time, the whole resort smelled like cleaning solution...not a nice, clean smell, and certainly not a beachy smell, but a bleachy, covering-up some other kind of odor smell. Our rooms were NOT CLEAN, the floors were disgusting, like they had been swabbed with DIRTY MOPS, we were given one towel per room and requesting additional towels proved extremely difficult. Our sheets were not clean, they were wrinkled and there was HAIR AND SAND IN OUR BEDS! The bathrooms have been given makeovers and were generously sized, but the rest of the room was NEGLECTED, CHEAP AND DIRTY. The food was not exceptional in any way, except for the Italian restaurant where the waiter was really great and the food was very good. I don't think we ever found a clean table the entire time we were there. There were plenty of open tables, and plenty of service people standing around chatting, but the tables managed to stay dirty the whole time and we had to fetch our own silverware! The house band in the lounge was pretty decent...but you sit at plastic tables with plastic chairs, fetching your own inconsistently made drinks...not exactly high class! The poolside service is nonexistent, the chairs fill up by 11 a.m,. but NO ONE WAS EVER IN THE POOLS EXCEPT THE BIRDS, who were there the whole time! My advice, AVOID THIS PLACE...spend a little more and find a nicer hotel! Definitely visit the Atlantis...the water park and aquarium were AMAZING!

My Husband and I stayed here for our Honeymoon. We had read all the review prior to going and were a little nervous because it seemed people either loved it or hated it. Well we had a wonderfull time. The hotel is very nice however if you are looking for luxury this in not the place. It's comfortable and safe and the pool and beach area are fabulous. The beach is amazing. The activities are timed so don't think you can go water ski any time you want. They do that about every other day for two or three hours. The food is good, they have set up the main dinning room in a way that does not make you feel that your at a buffet. they have china and wine glasses and for our trip the staff was very attentive. I will say it is worth it to make the reservations at Pastafari and Garden of Eden. We ate there four nights and enjoyed it very much. The hurricane club is nice and plays great music that everyone can enjoy. I felt very comfortable there. We are in our thirties and fit right in with the crowd there were young college age adults and middle aged and also what I would say were retireies. We had a great time and would stay again. We went downtown three days and went to the straw market it only cost two dollars there and back for the bus and we felt very safe. We were looking for nice and relaxing, yes it's not a brand new hotel but if you want nice stay here. It's a good deal for the money. If you want luxury then spend the money on Atlantis. But they let all the other hotels visit so it's crowded.

from the time we got onto the airplane we had a great trip. our airport transfer was included to and from the airport turned out to be a great asset to our trip as well. we got off the airplane in the Bahamas and walked right to the Breezes desk and the gentleman was kind enough to carry our luggage out to our waiting bus. this saved us a great amount of time as the taxi line was about 15 people long so we avoided standing in the 100 degree weather on a line. once we got to the hotel it was very nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful. the staff took our luggage and showed us to a locker room to change and get ready for the pool until check-in time. the rooms were also very clean, they were 100% just like the pictures on the website show they are, the only downfall to the room was the floors were tile and all the sand from the day gets stuck on the tile floor. a little annoying but we had our room serviced by housekeeping every other day and it helped a lot. my boyfriend wanted to experience the rock wall that you can do at no extra cost, and he loved it. they resort also features a trapeze that i went on and had the time of my life, even though it looks intimidating i would highly recommend it to anyone who stays at this resort. the food was good. not great, but good. they do try and switch up the food selection from day to day. i would also recommend eating at the pastafari at least one night of the stay. the food there was great and the selection was also great. the location is close to anything there is a local market down the road across from the Sandals resort, that i would recommend to go to if in any need of suntan lotion because the gift short easily doubles the prices of the small bottles. also there is a shop that you can get shirts and key chains and all the Bahamas souvenirs you can find for very cheap in a market like stand that i would recommend to pay a visit to on your stay. the only downfall to this hotel is that the walls are very thin an

Upon arriving the staff was prompt at checking us in and very friendly. We asked for a room with a king sized bed but they gave us one with two twins instead. The rooms were nice sized and were not too small for our taste. The bathrooms had been renovated and were nice. The pool area gets very quiet close to dark but there is always something planned around the resort so you can always find something to do. The things i found wrong with the hotel were that the rooms still need more renovating to bring them up to date, the renovation they did in the bathroom was nice, but seemed they were worried more about speed than quality. The linens & furniture are WAY out of date and the beds need new mattreses. the balcony is not really a balcony but a 1 foot ledge. Very noisy in the morning hours from renovation and other things. The glass door in the shower was missing the weatherstripping to keep the water out so water went all over the floor when you took a shower. Water one morning started running down the bathroom mirror through the trim and sounded like more was hitting the ceiling from the room above. All in all, I would go back to this hotel again. It was fun, had decent food, and all the staff was very friendly.

Pros: Hotel very clean just like the Rooms, The bathroom in the Room was beautiful! HUGE shower! Beach was beautiful, can bring your drinks & food anywhere with you, Food was EXCELLENT, Security everywhere (although not on our floor late at night when the college kids came back from clubbing!), Gift shop stocked good, Best place to go to get away at this hotel: The Piano Bar and the Hammock's on the side of the hotel. Worst places to be in this hotel: Main Entertainment area after 8pm and downstairs at Club Hurricane! Cons: STAFF: did not go out of their way for you. Too many "Sring Breakers", not for the couple who wants a romantic get-away! Bikini Contest kinda ruined things for me! Seagulls in Swimming Pool (yuck!), the bar grill & bar did not open till 11:30 (kinda late for me!). Buffet lunch did not start till 12:30 and you did not know what the buffet consisted of! No Buffet specials listed to make it easy to chose where you wanted to eat. No Drink specials listed either! One type of beer served! Bahama beer-Kalik! Resort not very big. Restaurants had a dress code...for this place I don't see why any dress code! Men have to wear slacks to dinner. Dinner & Tours you had to sign up the day before and the instructions to sign up were not very clear. Hotel Tour we did not get and did not feel that welcomed checking in. Internet was not free $7.50 for 15 minutes! I agree with the other reviews that were written recently...everything they have said is true! This resort was just "ok", nothing spectacular! My suggestion: Stay at the Wyndham Resort down the road!!! We visited that resort to go to the Casino they had and let me tell you it was beautiful! They had lots of shopping, a Casino, Starbucks, a beautiful pool area with hardly any Spring Breakers!, a beautiful beach & view, the rooms had REAL balcony's! I don't think the price is much more than the Breezes too so check it out FIRST! I know my boyfriend and I WILL chose this hotel for our next trip!!! http://www.

The location is beautiful and the hotel is overall clean, but there seemed to be something a little off with everything. There was a light off in my room, another guest had no alarm clock another no spread. The activities always started late and were less than anticipated. The afternoon tea was very poor and looked like leftovers from lunch. The food was plentiful and good if somewhat ordinary. The pool grill was excellent. The staff was helpful, execept the water sport beach group who seemed indifferent. Overall it was a nice stay but not comparable to Sandals. This was a step down from them about right for the price.

This resort just finished a 10m renovation and is beautiful. When you arrive at the airport there is a kiosk that has the name of the hotel, go there and they will lead you to the shuttle. Check in at the hotel was very helpful and answered any questions we had. Our room was gorgeous, tile/marble bathroom with a seat in the shower, huge sliding door that overlooked the gardens, pool and the ocean. A garden view room allows for an ocean view!! Maid service was great. The buffet was very good, so many choices to be had!! The pool area was clean. There were lay out chairs in the pool which was cool. Have music playing by the pool but if you want to enjoy the sounds of the ocean just walk a bit down the beach and you have peace and quiet. Beach was gorgeous!!!! Oh, you just have to get a massge while there at the resort, it was the best I EVER had!!! The bars by the pool had long lines most of the time but to give you a tip...just order double the amount!!! It was spring break though so maybe that's why. I felt EXTREMELY safe at this resort, security was professional and very helpful. The island itself was very pretty, no poverty that I saw just gorgeous resorts. Not once did we have a bad experience and the hired help were all very friendly/happy and helpful. We will definitely return!!!!!!!!!!!! I HIGHLY recommend this resort to all. Bonus: no screaming children here, I think the cut off is 14 yrs of age.

The Bahamas are beautiful! The people are friendly, and work hard to keep their islands clean and beautiful. Snorkling was wonderful, as the water is crystal-clear. The hotel's location was great - on the good side of Nassau, and not far away from it. Bus rides into Nassau are cheap, and just walking around the town was enjoyable! There was always plentiful food & drink on hand. All of the food was rather mediocre, though. Rooms were kept wonderfully clean.

There was plenty to do in the bahamas overall but there was a lot of activities that were included with the resort stay such as, windsurfing, kayaking, rock climbing, volleyball, tennis, paddle boats, water skiing... and so much more. I was so surprised to see how much stuff we could do for no extra cost! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I don't think i walked past one staff member that did not say hello to us. Overall, for the money this was a GREAT place to stay. Im sure there are other places to go that would give you the same experience but they would charge twice as much. This resort was the best you could expect for much less than you would expect.

Me and my boyfriend just got back from Breezes Bahamas a couple days ago and we had a wonderful time there! I think I had set myself up to expect the worse because of some of the bad reviews I had read, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that we had nothing but a clean, friendly, wonderful experience! The airport transfer was quick and painless, was on a bus with a bunch of spring breakers but they made the trip that much more fun! We had no problems checking in (was around 4pm on a Sunday) and got exactly the room we wanted, which was an Oceanview with a King size bed on a high floor. We got room 713. I did hear some of the other people saying their rooms weren't ready yet, but it was really busy with big spring break groups checking in. Front desk was busy but they were friendly. The whole resort was clean and well kept! Housekeeping was wonderful and so nice. Our room was beautiful and we had absolutely no problems with it what so ever. All doors worked great , flat-screen TV was nice, bed was better than most hotel beds I have slept in, and bathroom was really nice. The only small annoyance with having a room over the pool/ocean area is that the music in the lobby area in the evenings is really loud, we could hear everything in our room on the 7th floor! The food I thought was good. The buffets offered lots of options and everything was good buffet food. Much better than some places I have been. The staff kept the tables clean and made sure to serve you coffee or water. And if they couldn't get to you right away, just ask politely for what you need and they will gladly assist you. Pool grill was great with hamburgers, hotdogs, fish, conch fritters, and jerk chicken! It was very yummy! Both Pastafari and Garden of Eden were great! We enjoyed the food at both! You do have to make reservations and the instructions that we were given is you can make reservations between 8-4 daily at the front desk, either the day before or the day of the you want to go. We booked 2 rooms, one for us, one for our teenage daughters, for 6 nights. Both rooms had patio doors that barely hung on, if you actually opened the door you could hardly close it. The patio doors had at least a half inch gap where the wind just blows in, making the room quite cold. The whistling sound was enough to keep you up at night! We had to stuff towels, wedged in with plastic spoons, in the cracks to stop the rattling. The front desk refused to change rooms, for 2 days, kept telling us that no rooms were available, but they kept checking other people in. We finally decided to leave after 3 nights, they couldn't print up a bill, said that they would give us credit for 3 nights. We have yet to receive credit, or even get a return phone call. They were the rudest staff I have ever encountered. The lobby is loud, dirty, musty and just plain old run down nasty, with very uncomfortable chairs. Maid service is slow at best, floors in rooms are tile with grout so worn down it hurt to walk on it barefoot. The main dining hall smells musty, or fishy, and the food was either overcooked or just plain bland. The activity list they have for everyday would have been better being burned in a fire to keep warm, since they didn't stick to the list. Activities would either start late, or not happen at all. Hopefully, I can prevent just one person from staying there and wasting their hard earned money on such a dump that back in the States it would probably be condemned.

Our trip was a little bias because we did not have ideal weather. But the hotel provided many pleasant activities for such circumstances. The All-Inclusive nature of the hotel was very nice and took a lot of the stress out of the experience. It was also easy to plan a day trip away from the hotel if one was so inclined. This was a very nice vacation spot and though I personally would not go there again, simply because it has now been done, I would recommend it to a friend looking for an all-inclusive hotel. Warning: It is more of a party atmosphere for younger couples who are into that sort of thing. Would not recommend for married people, or older people just looking for a quiet vacation spot.

Breezes was a good choice for me and my friends..we went June 10-16 2009 and ranged in age from 22-26 and liked that it was an adults only resort. We did notice that it was a younger crowd, we overheard alot of HS seniors say they were on their senior trip but there was a nice mix of people there. Some of the staff were very friendly but some of the bartenders were slow and didn't seem too happy to be there. The nightclub in the hotel was ok but no windows or air conditioning in it so it got very hot. There was also no 24 hour food place to sit after the nightclub closed..they offered snacks at the front desk which consisted of chips and a sandwhich that no one ever attempted to eat. The pool and beach areas were great nothing to complain about there. Be warned there are flies everywhere which can't be avoided but it defintely got annoying after awhile. The buffet food wasn't too bad but don't expect anything crazy. Basic potatoes, pasta, meat every single night. Breakfast at the buffet was probably the best meals with many options. The staff in the buffet hall were extremely friendly and attentive. Overall I would go back to Breezes but only with a large group of friends.
