We had a very good experience at this hotel. It was clean, the room was spacious and the service was very friendly. I appreicated that the hotel was conveniently located next to hwy 70, so it was easy to get going in the morning. I would definitely stay here again.

Very close to my doctor appointment! Was fine no dislikes. For the price this was great. Bed was extra comfy. Would stay again.

More then expected for the rate. The sheet and bed-cover were dirty twice and suspicious. Excellent value for the money and complete; in many cases better then the more expensive Inns.

The Sunset Inn is an old building, but seems to be taken care of. The room was small, but we only needed a place to sleep so that was ok. Bathroom needs updated but was clean. Yes, we might stay there again if we travel back that way. There is a restaurant within walking distance.

The staff was very friendly and even though I checked in late they provided good customer service.

The staff person who helped us wa very freindly and helpful. My wake up call came right on time. Could do some minor repair in the room. This hotel was fine for the overnight stay we had. The front desk person was very nice. The room was of adequate size. There was a fridge and microweave and coffee maker, I requested downstairs and we were cheerfully accommodated. The oveall feel of the room was clean and the lobby was neat. There was a stain on the bathroom window sill in the bathroom. The carpet at the bathroom door was lifting and looked bad.One tiny bar of soap was left to share between the bath sink and shower. Overall, it was a positive experience. It was nice and quiet and we got a good nights sleep. I would feel comfortable staying here again if I were staying in Oroville.

Easy to find. Cleanliness. Staff was not all that friendly and really, they needed to do something with the bathroom. Paint walls, scrub tub, maybe a rug on the ground etc.

Quiet, clean, and good price. Air conditioning to loud to run at night so extremely hot. The staff was quiet. We didn't require much from them so okay. Pool looked to be nice. Quiet area.

The location near the highway off/on ramp. The address needed to be visible from the road, it was not. The room was great for the short time that we were there. The location was great being right off the highway.

Nice landscaping. Bathroom door wouldn't close, lock broken, faucet had hot and cold reversed, and cold water sprayed out all over, instead of flowing out. Convenient, and economical. Friendly people at the desk, nice swimming pool, old rooms could use some maintenance.

I liked the mini fridge and the microwave in the room. The continental breakfast was really terrible, no variety, only coffee and limited Danish, bad for kids. I liked this hotel just fine for the price. It was mainly clean and the pool was great. It is much nicer than some other budget motels I have been to. The shower curtain had no liner and was a disaster, it would not stay down and the floor was soaked. The continental breakfast was terrible. There was only coffee and limited Danish in mostly unappealing flavors. The breakfast was completely useless for children. The room was equipped with a mini fridge and microwave as well as a coffee maker which all worked great. I would stay again.

The clerk waited up for us for late check-in, midnight Bathroom was old, dingy, not at all remodeled as advertised Looked nice from the outside, inside the room was dingy, old, spider webs in the corners.. yuck, we would not stay there again. Bathroom was very old, small, only 2 towels for 4 of us.

The room was ready early, and was actually better than expected for the rating. The safe had been locked by a previous visitor and had not been resettled by the motel. This is an inexpensive, family-friendly motel. The pool is inviting, and is heated. Internet access is excellent.

It is quiet and convenient as an overnight stop to our final Quincy destination. In room coffee would be nice! We found the motel clean & quiet and at convenient stop on our way up to Quincy. I have stayed at this motel in the past, and would again in the future.
