What a fantastic hotel! Staff were helpful, the resturant was great and we thought the rooms were quite large (we have stayed in Tokyo before!) and extremely comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again, and have reccommended it to a number of friends already.

It was a very nice experience stay in the crowded Shinjuku with a good price for the room and service the hotel provided. I definitely will stay in the same hotel next time I visit Tokyo.

Great value and convenient location, expectations met. Room size is too efficient, space is a premium. Small room size but a great value and convenient location. Far from Narita but 3,200 Yen direct 1 hour bus to shinjuku station solved that.

We enjoyed our stay with this hotel and would recommend it to others seeking to stay in Tokyo for a weekend break. The hotel is very central, staff spoke good English and were very helpful, rooms were small but very clean and compact.

I love this hotel.. i stayed in a single room.. very nice. Free internet and flat screen tv. even though only CNN i can understand. This hotel is located near Mc.Donalds and Dennys and especially the metro. Also near by is AM/PM store. There is a starsbucks next door and a krispy creme near by.I highly encourage you to use this hotel if staying in tokyo in a budget.

The hotel quality is GREAT, The rooms are small but you have everything you need, including a 42 in LCD TV, but the Location is SUPER, Shinjuku station in LITERALY right next door, as soon as you walk out of the door go right and you are there), and that is the station you want to be close to, from there you can go anywhere in Tokyo, If you are staying local, there is two big malls two blocks away and they are huge. Had a great time.

Despite the moderate pricing level, this hotel rates highly amongst its counterparts within that bracket. It has essentially all that you need to keep your trip comfortable. Front desk staff speak English well and courteous. Direct transfer from airports makes it accessible and convenient. The entire precinct is full of small restaurants and shops and it takes about 5 mins walk to the nearest station. Guest Lounge on level 2 with a free internet and a decent coffee certainly makes the day go further for sure! I have stayed here time and again and will do so in the future if available. Point of advice: Worth joining Sunroute Club to gain points as well!

This was our first visit to Japan. The hotel was nice, clean and modern. They also have a hospitality room for guests with coffee and juice and an internet station, TV, sofas. Location was convenient in being just about 3 blocks from Shinjuku station so you can get just about anywhere. Its also slightly off of the main Shinjuku thoroughfare which is nice since Shinjuku can be very hectic. The Airport bus service also stops here directly which is convenient. Only drawbacks to the hotel was that it lacked a Concierge and Bell desk (or we didn't see it). The beds were also a bit hard. Also one major feature in Japan is being able to send your luggage ahead to your next hotel so you won't have to lug it around but the courrier service desk is only open 8AM-noon so if you're out on morning tours you'll miss it. Overall a good hotel that I'd stay at again. Only slight drawbacks from the larger more expensive hotels.

First of all this hotel is brand new, so you get new rooms which are a little small to american standards. The rooms come with everything you need (TV, tea makers, slippers, night robe, etc..) its next to the Shinjuku train station and the Shinjuku area (bars, restaurants). There are security guards outside of the hotel and the hotel is big so if you get lost in Shinjuku, you can alot of times see the "sunroute hotel" logo lit up. Cons- no free breakfast, no swimming pool, small room size, cant open windows.

The best thing about this hotel is its location. It is one block from Shinjuku station which is the major station to get anywhere in Tokyo. We found this convenience worth the stay alone. However, the hotel was very nice. It is very clean and had good service. The rooms are small but we weren't in the room more than to sleep anyway. If you want a hotel with lots of amenities like a pool, gym, etc. this is not for you. However, if you want a centrally located, clean, safe place to stay, this is your spot in Tokyo. You can take the "Friendly Airport Limosine" Bus directly to the hotel from the airport for 30 pp. We found that service very convenient. We also liked the 2nd floor lounge with hot drinks, large screen tv, newspapers, and internet access to be very nice. The DO NOT change travellers checks at the hotel, which was inconvenient. However, Citibank, in the tower next door was able to do this. Also, across the street is a nice cafe called Cafe Veloce which has good pastries and coffee at a fraction of the price of the hotel's breakfast buffet. We recommend the cafe for breakfast due to the cost of the buffet at the hotel.

It was at a very convenient location. The room was kind of small. The hotel room was small but clean. The convenience of the location more than made up for the size. I was traveling with my 8 year old son we had an economy double room. The bathroom might prove to be a stretch for taller folks. All bathroom amenities you can think of are provided. There were all kinds of eateries and shopping nearby, plus the subway station. A short walk on an overpass brought us to a very popular Krispy Kreme, and the Takashimaya Square shopping in Shinjuku. I just wish I had more days to spend. I booked the hotel too close to departure, about 3 months earlier, the same room could have been booked for half the price. So I would recommend early booking.

This hotel is in an excellent location, just a very short walk from Shinjuku station and easily accessible to all of Tokyo. The rooms and baths are very nice. Wired internet is free. The front desk staff are very available and all speak at least some English. I have stayed in other hotels in Tokyo before but would certainly choose this hotel if I went again.

We travelled for 23 days in Japan with two 17-year-old girls and this was the most comfortable place we stayed in. Rooms are very compact (especially the bathtub) but very clean with high-tech toilets! The staff was very courteous and helpful. The location is superb, being close to one of the major train/subway stations. There is a lounge on the second floor with two computers available for guests giving free computer access as well as free coffee/tea. There was no smell of cigarettes unlike other places we stayed in subsequently. If we return to Tokyo, this will definitely be our first choice!
